trout he liked and snuck towards the water. The tom then batted
his paws at the fish the moment it leaped out of the fast moving
river.

watched the fish slip through the tom's claws. "Your form's all
wrong, Pebblefur. Watch,"
As Featherdance caught a flash of silver in the water, she
leaned back so her shadow wouldn't touch the water and alert the
fish of her presence. When the fish was in range, she dove her
paw in and scooped the fish up, plopping it on the ground.
Featherdance then sunk her claws into the fish's head quickly
ending its short life.
"And that's the correct way to catch a fish," the silver
tabby meowed, passing him her catch.[/font][/td]

Pebblefur's eyes lit up with amazement as she hunted the large
fish. "wow, that's really impressive," he mewed, his voice
filled with shock and amazement at her catch.
