       Venomstar stood on a rock above her den. "Just a few quick
       announcements - Ashcloud will be Featherpaw's mentor, and I will
       train Orchidpaw until she can get a proper mentor," she called
       out to the clan, "well, of course, not that I'm not proper," she
       added.

       Ashcloud looked around, trying to find his new apprentice.
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       Orchidpaw was sitting by the edge of camp, watching the camp
       carefully.

       returned to camp just in time for the announcements. Lucky him!
       The tabby dropped off a mouse, which he managed to catch while
       checking the border, off at the fresh kill pile.
