[td][font=arial] Alderpaw was curled up in his nest, his long
tail on his nose. The small tom's flank rose and fell as he
drifted to sleep.
Alderpaw woke up in a strange forest. When he looked up, the
sky was black as night, not a single star to be seen. Looking
around, he saw that instead of in the sky, stars were
everywhere. In the trees, in the grass, and even in the cats.
A black she-cat padded over to him and meowed in a soft tone,
"Your path lies somewhere else. The wind can only take you so
far. A battle can only be won by the true of heart. it is not
your place to fight."
Before Alderpaw had a chance to ask any questions, the
she-cat and his dream was gone.
Alderpaw jerked awake. He looked around, panting. He was in
his nest in the apprentices' den. [I]It was all a dream...? It
felt so real![/I][/font][/td]

Daisystar was up on a large rock that looked over camp, speaking
to David. Unaware that Alderpaw was awake.

looked around, a confused expression clear on his face. [I]What
just happened? If it was a dream, why do I remember it so
clearly?[/I]
He looked up at Daisystar and wondered if she knew anything
abut it.
Alderpaw then padded to the bottom of the rock the WindClan
leader was sitting on. He knew that he was only an apprentice
and shouldn't go up there, so he didn't. "Um... Daisystar? Can I
talk to you about something?'[/font][/td]

She flicked her ears, and nodded. "Sure, come on up." She mewed
flicking her tail to make david go away. "Whats up alderpaw?"
She asked him.

Daisystar took a deep breath, knowing how to interpret the
dream. "It sounds alot like the dream I had a long time ago.. It
means that the way of a windclan warrior, isn't for you. Your
destiny is different." She told him.

wondering if he had seen something that would give her a clue.
