[U]History --[/u]
Founded by Rose Red, RoseClan is simply called a 'group of rogue
garden cats' by many, and the group doesn't really use the name
often. The cats here are bound together by their shared wonder
of plant life and their abilities to heal.

[B]Leader[/b] -- HP -- Leads the clan. Their word is law. Gifted
nine lives by the spirits of the deceased.

[B]Deputy[/b] -- HP -- Takes over as leader when the current
leader is too sick, has disappeared, or died.

[B]Couriers[/b] -- SHP -- Toms and she-cats given the honor of
representing their clan when meeting with other groups. There
are up to three of these.

clan.

[U]Territory --[/u]
RoseClan camp is located in a well cared for greenhouse, filled
with numerous plants that the group tends to. They hunt in the
overgrown ruins of a mansion and in the surrounding woods. A
giant birch tree grows through the greenhouse and breaks through
the cieling, the Great Birch, is where all meetings are held and
leaders speak to the deceased every moon.
Traditions --
RoseClan gathers with the clans on gatherings, but only the
couriers and leader go. Others within the clan are sometimes
permitted to accompany them, such as rooks or senior roots.
There is no healer because all members are trained with medical
knowledge
RoseClan does not believe in StarClan, though they believe that
nature decides everything for them, and that their deceased
roams the canopies of forests and gather at the Great Birch.
- The naming of a courier is a special occasion for the
entire group and is handled delicately, as the idea is still
fairly new.
[spoiler=Ceremony]Leader: "[name] has shown the
makings of the perfect representative of RoseClan, showing both
the positive and negative of our group. By the power of the
undergrowth and spirits above the canopy, I, [leader name], give
[name] their title of RoseClan's courier. [name], do you
accept?"
Root: "I accept, as it is of your will and our nature's wishes."
Leader: "Then I welcome you to accompany me to the gatherings as
my courier and our group's trusted representative."
The root would then lick the leader's shoulder respectively and
the leader would rest their head on the root's head.[/spoiler]
- The changing of a name is also a special ceremony and is
held only once a moon.
[spoiler=Ceremony]Leader: "[name] has decided to
give up their name, as it no longer fits them. Speak before the
Great Birch and tell it your new name."
The root would then step before the Great Birch.
Root: "I, [name], have decided on my free will that I will be
called [new name] for now on."
The leader will then announce the new name to the whole of the
clan.[/spoiler]
- The naming of a rook and root are the same as warrior and
apprentice ceremony
- When the leader dies or retires, the deputy is to sleep by
the Great Birch for three nights. The deceased will bless the
deputy for all three days, giving three different gifts to
assist the new leader.

Why are their names weird?
-- The cats of RoseClan are similar to the ancient cats/clan
settlers. Thus their names are also like that.
