Smokewing's small black form waded around in the nearest river.
It wasn't too deep, and she remembers being taught how to swim
here only moons ago when she first joined the clan. Though she
wasn't keen on swimming, she found herself loving water and the
fish that wiggled through it. Her pretty eyes reflected in the
water as she looked into the shallow depths. She's changed so
much from the kittypet she had once been. Previously fat from
twoleg food, she had grown slim and sleek from learning to hunt
and swim with her clanmates.
She'd be lying if she said she didn't miss her old friends
Fluffy and Minnie, or her fluffy bed by the fireplace. Her
twolegs probably missed her. Her ears drooped as she brought
herself onto the shore, shaking her fur free from water that
clung to it. Briefly she thought of digging up her collar and
running back to her old twoleg nest. Smokewing hated the
torments and taunts of her kittypet past that she's been dealing
with since her first day here.[/font][/td]
