Welcome to The Tribe of the Red Sun[/center][color=maroon]
Hello there! Ah yes, i suppose your wondering what this strange
place is, where the trees are red year round and te flowers grow
in the colors of the sunrise and sunset? While, this is our
home... ah, who are we? We are The Tribe of the Red Sun. Yes,
our home and beliefs are a bit... different, than most, but we
are a thriving community. Won't you stay for a while and see for
yourself?
[color=red][b]History[color=maroon]
In the beginning, this was a Japanese dojo, used only by the
nearby town. The town was a simple,rice farming one. When the
humans left due to a temporary drought resulting in the loss of
the rice crops, the cats stayed. After many years, the dojo
began to become wild and over grown. After hundreds of ears,
this place had become forgotten, and few cats remained. Then one
day, a group of rouges discovered the place, and marveled in how
the place was lit up like flames in the light of the sun, and
how the light of the sun was turned red by the tree's. They made
this place their home, thus forming the Tribe of the Red Sun. It
has been many seasons since then.
[i][color=orange]Territory[i][color=yellow]
a large forest of Japanese maples surrounding a run down dojo,
located between two hills. A path runs through the territory, as
well as a river that flows through the forest, but disappears
underground under the hills at both ends. The dojo makes up the
camp, and their are two rooms. The main room is for sleeping and
eating. Inside the other room, their is a clean, untainted pond
here the bottom is covered in red stones. This pond is
considered sacred, and only the Priest or Priestess may go here,
as it is used on the blood moon nights to speak with their
ancestors.
Note: in relations to the other clans, they are just past the
mountains where the Tribe of Rushing Water resides, but they are
harder to find due to the fact that the hills hide their home.
[color=orange]Rules and Traditions[color=yellow]
The tribes customs are a bit unique. Instead of starclan or the
tribe of endless hunting, they worship the sun deity Taiyo, and
the moon deity Tsuki. Taiyo is the guardian of all things
living, while Tsuki is the guardian of the dead. Every six
moons, there is a 'blood moon', which is when their is a lunar
eclipse that causes the moon to turn red. Only on these nights
can the priest or priestess speak with the ancestors of the
tribe.
The Law of the Tribe:
-Follow the laws or risk being exiled.
-The priest or Priestess's word must be obeyed, but they may not
make any exceptions to the already set laws.
-It is against tribe laws for kits or apprentices to leave camp
at night, for it is believed that Tsuki will take their souls
with her and turn them into stars. It is believed that is they
do so and return unharmed, they are evil, and Tsuki has rejected
them. These cats are exiled from the clan no matter how young,
as they are considered to bring bad luck to the tribe if they
stay.
-Hunters may only have kits with other hunters, and guards only
with guards. if found to be otherwise, both parents will be
exiled, and the kits will be raised by a a different couple. The
priestess/priest must also chose a mate only from the position
they had before.
-Nurses, Kits, and Elders must eat first, before the
priest/priestess and guards can. hunters must hunt before being
allowed to eat.
-In order to name their kits, each parent takes some poppy seeds
in order to induce dreams. They then name the kits of opposite
gender of themselves after whatever they saw in their dreams.
Most members simply refer to each other by the first word of
their names. Note: no children may be named after the sun or
moon

[spoiler=ranks guide] Priest/Priestess (hp) - The leader,
healer, and spiritual adviser of the tribe. There can only be
one of these at a time.
Chosen Ones (shp) - the two to-be's chosen, one from each lower
rank (hunters and guards) who are chosen to be the possible
successors to the priest or priestess. On the priest/priestess's
deathbed, one will be chosen to lead, and the other will go back
to their normal rank.
Guards - those who protect and fight for the clan
Hunters - those who hunt for the clan
To-be's - those 6 months and older still in training. there are
two types of to-be's, those training to be hunters and those
training to be guards.
kits - those younger than six months old. their future positions
are determined while they are still at this age.
queens - a temporary position, these are the cats who are
raising or expecting kits
Nurse's - females who are no longer able to hunt or protect the
group, and are charged with changing the bedding for the queens
Elder's - all members who are no longer able to hunt, protect,
or care for the group. They are to be respected [/spoiler]
