       Outside of this agreement, Chinese energy companies signed a
       series of purchase and sale agreements with American LNG

       the other, China, consumes more gas in absolute volume than the
       other two combined – are in direct and intense competition for
       American gas supply. Russian geopolitical power and Ukraine as a
