OOC: Hold on I wrote the bill properly so this can be voted on.
"Yes the purpose of the bill is to protect voluntary slavery."

Representative Hanna zur Linde stands, with a Roman salute to
       the Speaker:
"Whatever the laws of the State of Columbia, this act is
dangerous and, if I may add my personal feelings, deeply and
heart-rendingly offensive to a people who love freedom and
liberty as much as der Vok of the Amerikanisches Reich. To
Columbia, it may only permit indentured servitude, but to
others, in the future, how might it be interpreted? That it
contains the term 'slavery' rather than simply 'indentured
servitude' is a fundamental flaw ... or a telling sign of an
ulterior motive ... not to mention a violation of the principles
of both the New Confederacy and the Reich. I will not stand for
it, im namen des Reichsführers und Volk!"
Zur Linde takes a moment to dramatically compose herself before
       continuing.
"Therefore, I would like to bring a motion to table the bill
       immediately."

"In one breath of air the Representative from Amerikanisches
Reich talks of freedom and liberty and in the other she talks of
tabling. Where is the freedom and liberty for states to vote
for or against this legislation?" Baroness Honey Baroda
       questions.

"Yes actually they are. Slaves vote, they can practice religion,
they have free speech, they bear arms. So stop making
accusations to the state of Columbia."
[/quote]I don't find this bill necessary. But, I defend his
right to "slaves." Why, you may ask? To put it simply, these
"slaves" aren't slaves at all. They may be called slaves, but
they are each really servants. Think about it. They aren't
forced to become "slaves", get full rights and get paid. That is
       not a slave.

Banging a gavel, albeit weakly, on the podium the Speaker calls
the room to attention. "W-We are not here to discuss morality!
       Let the proceedings continue!"
