[IC Bill] Slavery Protection and Economic Freedoms (SPEF)
By: Columbia Confederates Date: August 24, 2015, 2:08 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Recognizing each state's sovereignty.
Realizing that state's have different views in regards to many
things.
Knowing that many consider the act of slavery immoral.
Congress Hereby Mandates that slavery shall be protected by the
federal government and that no state shall take away another
state's rights to own slaves. This mandate would hereby give all
states the right to choose whether or not to have slavery within
their own states and that no federal official shall rebuke this
and take away the livelihoods of the owners and slaves. This
mandate also recognizes that the abuse of slaves is morally
wrong and shall hereby be outlawed with all owners caught
abusing slaves serving up to 5 years in a state prison.

I second this as it'll make a great baseline for how this region
starts.

"I do not support this bill. Slavery is outlawed in the
constitution. To even attempt to make it legal would require
changing the constitution."

"Please point out where slavery is outlawed in the current
constitution, for I cannot find anything in regards to slavery
anywhere in the Constitution."

created equal?"

"We do not abuse them! It is outlawed in the state and this bill
would outlaw the abuse of said slaves. And yes all men are
created equal in the eyes of God, but it is also a man's free
will right to sell themselves into voluntary slavery unless you
wish to take away their right to choose, which would contradict
your support for the murder of children in the womb."
