Columbia Reopens Trade Talks Among States
By: Columbia Confederates Date: August 23, 2015, 9:39 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Columbia will now begin opening trade talks and partnerships as
well as possible transportation deals between states. Columbia
is renowned for 3 big things: Cotton, Tobacco, and Sugar. But
they also produce fruits, vegetables, lumber, and weaponry.
Please contact any of the 60+ current plantations.

Does Columbia wish to trade with Turkducken? While nothing
immediate in the current exports of Columbia is needed, as
Turkducken produces 90% of it's own food (with exclusive imports
of beef from Appalchia), Turkducken is also a proud exporter of
services and would accept any offer from Columbia in exchange
for a service.

We would let you know that we have many cotton plantations that
would help boost your production of clothing. As for services,
we would like to possible see a rail line go from Turkducken to
Columbia if paid by the Turks in exchange for cotton, tobacco,
or sugar.

The rail-line would be mutually beneficial, so payment would not
necessarily be needed. However as we have no borders with
Columbia, it would require multiple State border permissions.

Not necessarily, we are very close together however and we could
build it through unclaimed territories.

DEN has placed a massive trade embargo on Columbia, and has
announced intentions to blockade them.

We respect DEN's decision, but economic talks will continue.

West Phoenicia also a big exporter of Cotton and Tobacco
believes we have an exclusive contract with Turkdurken in
regards to those items.
We will look at importing sugar from Columbia Confederate.

OOC: Just a quick nit pick but Alabama produces way more cotton
than Florida, so Turk could cut off the WP deal to get more
cotton.
We would wish to continue to talk regarding cotton and tobacco,
and if you wish to trade with tobacco we too would like to offer
other deals such as possible labor?

Sparta requests that they be able to rent land to drill for
natural gas and oil along the shale line. Sparta also is
interested in settin up a trade city it Columbia would allow it
to.
