The Arrival of New Dothan.

It began with a flash. Thousands of satellites and radios picked
it up. Across, on the far side of the moon, THEY HEADED HOME.
For days the world watched as long sleek ships approached earth.
Everyone gathered around telescopes to watch as the giants that
had once called this place home now lumbered back. Slowly, the
hundreds of crafts began to close in on earth. All in a tight
location on where their old home was. People young and old
dreaded what was coming as the great administrators were finally
returning. Who knew what had happened to former President
Barnham? Why had such a massive nation of people disappeared
overnight? Why did uncle Steve never sell enough doughnuts to
maintain a steady stream of revenue? These questions had been on
historians minds for years. And now it looked as if they were
about to be answered.
But people came to the realization, these ships had to have
somewhere to go, and the place they were heading was already
settled! How could they change the course of so many people?
They tried Radio. It didn't work. Internet failed as well. Morse
code did nothing. What could they do in order to save Columbia
from being invaded? In the end, it came down to placing a
Jehovah's witness every ten square miles in Columbia. With that,
the ships changed course because no one really wants a
subscription to The Watchtower.
After days of drifting through space, the ships began to enter
into the earth's atmosphere. But something was wrong! The ships
weren't slowing down! At a trot at first, the ships began to
speed up. Then at a jog, then a run, then a dead sprint until
finally it was accelerating like a fat man seeing Golden Corral
turning off the chocolate fountain. Everyone watched as these
ships came blazing through the sky!
Missouri's leader said "Not again".
Caos' leader said "Huh, More Moving targets." before returning
to his daily plot.
Anthony Kaiser's leader barked for some reason.
Gondor's leader prepared a ridiculous action plan.
Diana's leader desperately wanted to be part of this joke.
Sparta's leader thought: "He's gonna try and control me again,
isn't he"?
Kiss's leader thought: "He's gonna make it all about himself".
Franco's leader simply glared at the burning ships.
Aquatur's/Eastern Roman Empire's/??? leader smiled and got the
greeting cards ready.
And a leader of a nation who shall not be named spun in his
grave. They say he spun so fast that it exploded and destroyed
all traces of NCSA civilization north of Maine.
And a lot of leaders New Dothan doesn't know said various things
which are probably documented down somewhere. Moving on.
At this point, the ships were in a rapid dive now towards the
former state of Georgia and they were moving! Everyone was
worried that this actually wasn't a return, but an attack!
Faster and faster, the ships went down down down (in the burnin
ring of fire) towards the earth. Finally, they SLAMMED into the
ground. The strength of their combined hit could be felt on the
West Coast. For a moment, everyone stopped. The world hadn't
ended, thankfully. So it clearly wasn't a pointless attack, so
was it really their return?
A small group of news-crews flew by helicopter towards the
largest of these wreckages and were surprised to find thousands
of people offloading supplies and building things! All over,
people worked on building a new city. As the crews came down to
the ground, they were shocked to see a metal man walking towards
them. However, seeing as no one else was paying them any mind,
it looked like they had to talk to him.
"Uhh? Excuse me?" One reporter said to the shiny humanoid
"Where.... uh.. Where have you been"?
The metal man quickly turned towards the reporter and opened his
mouth. The wrinkles around his mouth folded as he opened it in
front of them. Did they really build a robot with wrinkles?
" WE HAVE BEEN AWAY. WE SEE OUR OLD HOME IS NOW OCCUPIED. NO
MATTER, WE WILL BUILD A BETTER ONE.
That puzzled the reporters quite a bit.
"Why would such a large nation just disappear without a trace?
Where is James Barnham"?
""FORMER PRESIDENT JAMES BARNHAM IS DEAD!" Seeing the reaction
from the crowd, the robot knew to continue immediately. "HE DIED
IN HIS SLEEP, WHEN A LAWNMOWER FELL ON HIM.
"You have lawnmowers where you went"?
"YES. YOU HAVE ONE FINAL QUESTION BEFORE I RETURN TO MY WORK."
"Uhm.. What are you exactly"?
"AFTER NEW DOTHAN LEFT, JAMES BARNHAM WAS KILLED. THE PEOPLE
NEEDED A LEADER, NAY, DARE I SAY OF MYSELF, A HERO. THEY CHOSE
TO SELECT WHO THEY FELT WOULD BE A TRUE HERO FOR THEM. I AM THE
ROBOTIC REINCARNATE OF RONALD REAGAN. I LEAD THE PEOPLE OF NEW
DOTHAN. AND TODAY, IT IS MORNING IN AMERICA.

OOC: long time ago, when you went after the certain someone who
shouldn't be named. Someone said you were like an attack dog. I
thought it was hilarious, so I used it again.

The ships are already on fire at this point.
