Appointing a new Vice President

The President has fired former VP Adam Grand after his defection
to the UCA, as he is soon to be their new President. He also
left the line of duty without giving any notice to the
President. Mr. Gray feels betrayed, and must find a more
suitable replacement for Mr. Grand. The President has appointed
Mr. James Espo of Sparta to be the new Vice President.

West Phoenicia denounces the current choice. Citing cases of war
crimes against Sparta which a formal complaint has been lodged
with the Supreme Court. Giving Sparta a leadership position
within our Congress shows an air of corruption. On one hand The
state of Gondor denouces Spartan attacks on West Phoenician yet
at the same time this promotion appears to be rewarding them.

President Gray makes it clear that his wishes do not reflect
that of King Aragorn's, or the State of Gondor's. He denounces
Sparta's actions, but makes it clear that Mr. Expo had nothing
to do with the attacks on West Phoenicia
This promotion is not a reward for that state, but for a man
who has long worked hard in order to ensure that the NCSA is as
great as it can be.

OOC: WP, one man isn't my entire state. James Espo isn't even in
my own government he's the former SOI. So he isn't a "war
criminal" as you say

As a person of leadership in Sparta he would have been aware of
the illegal war his nation has started. They started an
illegal war. One of his ambassadors is on the run. And this body
has just added to their corruption by elevating a Sparta during
this crisis.

Mr. Espo is the former Secretary of Interior, and it cannot be
proven that he had any prior knowledge of the attack, as he is
not a military leader, nor does he have the same security
clearance as Sparta's king. This attack has caught us all off
guard. Please judge Mr. Espo not by where he hails from, but by
the content of his character.

Citing that the Spartan was stepped down as Secretary of the
Interior. Do you honestly think to fool Congress that he is
suddenly competent for a new position in cabinet.
