DEN/CSM War Games
By: Caos Date: May 11, 2015, 10:51 am
---------------------------------------------------------
In a show of both preparation, patriotism, and pride, the USSDEN
has extended an invitation to the Confederate States of Missouri
to attend a simulated War Game, composed of ten companies and
twenty five aircraft maximum, including helicopters. The
simulation will be completely safe and realistic, and will help
to improve both CSM and DEN equipment, training, and tactics.
Should they accept, the simulation will be held in DEN, and only
the crew need attend. There will be a series of simulations to
test the skills in different environments.
The first will be in a Namenian style territory, with snow,
cold, and hilly regions. The second will be in a more southern,
CSM style region. The third will be in a jungle environment, and
the last in a desert and urban environment. There will be prizes
awarded to the winning teams.

I'm not sure how good I'll be at this, but 'll give it a go. I'm
more used to resolving combat with 20 sided dice. ;D

DEN radar stations pick up a huge flight of helicopters heading
towards DEN airspace, some of them evidently quite large. Before
they enter DEN airspace the lead chopper begins sending out a
broadcast. "This Maj. General Stephen Danner of the Missouri
State Guard. We are here to participate in joint military
exercises."

DEN
South Western Outposts
CINC-South
"CIC, we have multiple bogies on radar bearing three-four-five
at 160 miles per hour, coming in at 200 miles out. IFF reads
friendly. Bogies are requesting communications with CINC-South."
The radar officer reported. He was already marking each of the
targets as friendly, and strengthening the radar to attempt to
find anything else that might be higher up.
"Roger that, Radar. Communications, send a report to Southern,
and then to Central. Radar, give me that transmission." The
Commander of the outpost ordered, and listened in as the message
was relayed. "Radar, monitor their radar signatures. Watch for
any tracking bands. Tag 'em and mark 'em, boys. And look for
their ship's radar. It should be out there somewhere. Comms,
send them a message:"
Major General Stephen Danner of the Missouri State Guard,
this is Captain Herst. We've picked your helicopter fleet up on
radar. Please proceed to Krepest, and contact the base's tower
there. One more thing, General, sir. Where's the ship you came
from? Your state is over two thousand miles away. I know those
helis can't make that far of a flight.

OOps and my BFH (Big explative deleted heli) only
has a range of some 600 miles. Which is all well and good for
down here in the lower 48, but I'm gonna have to get a cargo
plane.
The General thanks the DEN authorities and the fleet proceeds as
directed.
