North America is a perfect place for that, pretty much every
kind of disaster is possible, just not everywhere. Earthquakes
should be located primarily on the West Coast, hurricanes and
stuff wherever that's not Alaska, Tornadoes just about
everywhere. I think it's pretty bold for someone to declare a
natural disaster, just solely because of the damage and
economical costs.

Always, but your so isolated it would really only affect you,
eruptions would have to be less common. But lava plumes happen
semi-frequently if I'm not mistaken.

now.
But no, I think a natural disaster rp would be interesting, and
it could actually bring this region together, instead of war
splitting us up.
Some other ideas are like Caos' air show, or international
projects. Or space. Spaaaaace.
