I woke up this mornin' and thought things would smooth over,
that if we had some time to chill out things would be better,
but no, your still nippin at my heal even after I tell you I'm
done arguing with you. So make up your mind, we either work
together to smooth things out or you leave.

Just reply. I don't want to deal with this. It's flawed logic
that only revolves around making you the victim, and I'm done
       with it.

I'm not the victim, I'll play along with your little
anti-slavery war okay? I'll start a new thread for it. Let's
just try to make things better.

Stop playing the victim card, stop acting like you're the 'Moral
high ground', stop acting like you're superior, and stop mocking
       us. Just. Stop.

((Ah guys I just want to RP a peace treaty negotiation with
Columbia ;p Please take personal arguments to PM. OOC posts are
fine -- I'm making one now hey! -- but not when it's about some
private vendetta and definitely not when personal insults are
       involved.))

Governor Grant Preston wishes to negotiate with the Reich in
       order to reestablish their relationships.

Columbia-Hightah border, forward Reich command post
Reichsmarschall Wilhelm Kirkland's bunker was abuzz with
activity as various officers, from scharführer and oberleutnant
to obergruppenführer and general, rushed in and out with reports
of their preparation for an offensive. Artillery pieces, both
rocket and conventional, had been entrenched in the earthworks
on the ridge above, defended by anti-aircraft guns and
flakpanzer, and sighted to obliterate any defensible position on
Mount Sinai. The Luftwaffe was likewise prepared, from the
rearward, freshly-constructed airstrips, to unleash unremitting
hell upon it, with no intelligence reports of anti-aircraft
defenses. SS Panzer-, Luftbearen-, and Motorisiertedivisionen
officers were itching and jockying for the honor of leading the
first charge to wipe out any survivors.
Kirkland, however, continued to pace nervously, knowing that
such an attack would mean a desperate last stand by the
Columbians, to the death, and that for all the Reich's air power
and might, and for all the technological inferiority of the
Columbian armed forces, many hundreds -- perhaps thousands --
would be lost in the taking. Fresh graves; weeping widows and
widowers; children growing up without fathers or mothers. And
pointlessly so, with irreparable damage to the sacred,
mysterious, wondrous spirit of the Volksgemeinschaft.
So he paced and chain-smoked as his signals officer Emily
Schwarz continued to broadcast his message, and when he received
a reply at last, breathed a sigh of relief. His worried
countenance seemed to lose several years on the instant, as he
took the radio headset to reply.
"Reichsmarschall Kirkland speaking, Governor Preston. The Reich
is as eager as Columbia to secure a peace, I assure you, though
tradition dictates that it be done in person, and papers signed
and notarized with our own hands, and by legal witnesses." He
hesitated, taking a deep breath. "And I must again insist that
your capitulation be unconditional, and you consent to all terms
the Reich presents. I cannot give you elaborate detail by radio
message, but I can at least assure you that there will be no
indemnity demanded, nor any concession of territory. Please give
me your assurance of safe passage so that this may be done
properly. If you could meet me at Mount Sinai, I would be
       honored."
In truth, his honor was slightly bruised by the necessity of
traveling to meet a defeated enemy, but Kirkland was eager
enough to avert the coming battle that he could bear it with
       dignity.

"I will have you escorted into Georgetown, we will meet and
discuss terms, thank you again for your understanding." Governor
       Preston said over the radio.

Columbia-Hightah border, forward Reich command post
"Escorted?" Reichsmarschall Kirkland raised an eyebrow at the
message as reported to him, with some timidity, by Signalwoman
Schwarz. He hoped that he was not an imposing person to his
subordinates, unless, of course, he tried to be -- he far
preferred being respected to being feared -- but he had to
confess this whole business was unpleasant. Kirkland was steeped
from the day of his birth in both European and American military
tradition, and firmly believed that an enemy willing to offer an
unconditional surrender should appear at whatever pains before
the conquering commander, and not vice versa.
None the less, his commitment to averting a longer 'war' -- this
had been a pair of skirmishes, and, he realized, it was amongst
things vexing him that he felt the victory may not have been
       well-earned -- or a real war, remained.
He sighed deeply. "Ist gut für jetzt; please summon me a
kubelwagen, a driver, and a secretary. We'll trail a white flag
and hope not to be shot."
Kirkland found that, despite consternation aplenty, he felt
little anxiety. It was said that old men grew more cautious,
but, in his case, at least with regard to his own person, he
felt much the opposite: He had less life to lose, and
increasingly viewed death as an inevitable -- and not far off --
       appointment, rather than a terror.
The Reichsmarschall's kubelwagen, driven by a volunteer
Wehrmacht leutnant, with a secretary raising her head boldly in
the backseat and under white flags, soon sped towards Mount
Sinai along whatever disused tracks the scout vehicle could
navigate. Weapons excepting sidearms had been discarded and the
little car was quite alone. An indignity, certainly, but one
Kirkland would suffer to preserve Aryan lives.
