       Colombian Army

Columbia has a total of 163 representatives which give powers
and duties to the Governor. The Governor has the power, with
Senate approval, to use military force. Here are the current
       numbers of that force.
Total Population: 791,305, this being one of the smallest in the
       region.
       Enlisted Members: 94,962
       Army: 83,476
       Air-Fleet: 11,000
       River-Way Guard: 486
       Percent of people enlisted: 12%
       Other Military Forces:
Cherokee Alliance: An alliance made up of roughly 500 Cherokee
warriors who made a pact with the Colombian government to
protect Indian land in return for military support.
Colombian Independent Militia: A militia devoted to defending
the rights of Columbia. Has roughly 12,000 members: 2k currently
       being members of the Military.

OOC: I'm sorry, but you really can't have anything larger than
1-10 percent in the military. Germany had 11 percent, and it
struggled furiously to achieve even a meager economy during war.
44 percent would completely wipe your economy to the floor, as
there would be no one left to do anything needed.
Militaries rely upon the civilian population. Likewise, the
Civilian population relies upon the military. It's a delicate
balance of power. Also, you can have as many people in your
country as you would like, up to and including your NS pop. I
       really encourage that. A lot.

Fixed, I want to keep the population lowish, so I just adjusted
       the numbers :)

OOC: Unless your military is synonymous with the Government, if
everything in your society was related to the military and
everyone supported it, or if like Israel, mandatory
conscription, I would suppose you could sustain a large military
with a large planned economy. I would think that such a thing
would be mostly theoretical, and beyond practical.

OOC: Agreed, I'm goin to keep it low, realized how unrealistic I
made it. It's not like I'll only have this many men in total
though, I should have some allies.

       OOC: Yeah, DEN FTW! :P
But seriously, unless you wanna get metaphorically humiliated,
abused, beaten, shot, stuffed into a corner, stomped, then have
the building you're in set on fire and blown up, then steam
rolled, and another building built on top only to be burned
down, you'll kinda need to have more than 90,000 soldiers.
For comparison, I have more SS than you have soldiers.

OOC: Sounds almost exactly like what you were going for
Columbia, what with the Post-Civil War South fighting a war they
couldn't realistically win and all. :D

Columbia's small rag-tag army lead by top end generals, lags
behind in technological advancement but has made due with what
       they have.
       Honey Feast
The Honey Feast was first developed in 1959 by Methodist
Preacher/Engineer, Moses J. Tenn. This invention by Pastor Tenn
runs on steam, making it loud and easy to detect, however it
does have pros to it. The Honey Feast launches 100 pound
cannonballs. It's canister can hold up to six cannons, but due
to its small stature and weight holding abilities, it can't hold
anymore inside the small cockpit. Because of Tenn's height, he
made is short and stout. Due to this, all soldiers must be under
6 feet tall to operate properly. Due to the extreme pressure
that the HF fires at, many soldiers have complained about nausea
and illness, however those who engineer these today claim it is
due to the prolonged amount of time with steam.

The official Colombian military uniform has been used since the
Colombian-Beijing Wars. Not much was changed from the original
uniform except it added golden stripes into the design.
