OOC: What deal? The President said it was illegal, but the
people in the Vans had no personal clue about that. Also this is
a massive undertaking for your "New" State Sparta, that amount
of supplies being moved (presumably by air) would be an enormous
cost, and the Carriers seem inadequate to both carry military
personnel, equipment, and supplies.
For a final time the President demands that both parties meet
and discuss, He offers his own personal Presidential Palace as a
neutral area of diplomacy.

OOC: It was under the assumption that he launched form the
coastal Pacific, as he is now (presumably) stationed in Hawaii.

((Sparta, they would take almost a couple days to get there. Not
two hours. Give it a rest.

The Foreign Ministry, Eastern Byzantine Empire
Constantinople, His Grace's Royal Palace
The Great Room
Spokesman Alexis Thessaloniki of The Foreign Ministry took
center stage to address the peoples concerns over the current
"Nullification Crisis of the NCSA" as the media have now
described it.
"Citizens of the Eastern Byzantine Empire, The Foreign Ministry
has looked extensively into this specific case. We have now
determined that, with the advice and consent of His Grace, in
consultation with the Ministry of Justice, and the evidence at
hand, the Eastern Byzantine Empire supports the NCSA Government
in upholding the laws of this Confederacy and find, through our
own institutions, that the nullification of Confederate law by a
noncompliant State is in and of itself unconstitutional. The
Ministry of Justice has, in recent announcements, announced the
publication of a full dissertation of the nullification of
Confederate law and have found it to be an unconstitutional
act... As of now, we have taken no action against these 'rouge
nations' but we stand resolutely beside our allies and the
NeoConfederate States to resolve this issue, hopefully though
peace."

Spartan troops are now set in Buckingham as troops approach
Jericho. Preston responded to the president's statements by
saying: "Come and take this state from us then." Preston also
said he would accept the Turkducken agreement if the Turks would
support the standstill of troops on the border.
"I will only take to the palace in Turkducken if they will
support the stand still of troops along the border. That's a
deal we can work off of here."
Colombian General Pollux will be heading the Spartan troops
along with some commanders from Sparta. With troops approaching
the border, there is still hope that a deal can be met before
things head south in Columbia.

BREAKING NEWS
A Colombian share cropper being dubbed as "Foti", has apparently
shot at a federal officer who came to close to his land. Noone
was harmed. It is unknown at the time what the response of the
federal officers were. No Colombian militia soldiers fired.
"Foti" however was on hand with the soldiers. War seems
inevitable at this point after the "Foti" shot.

President Gray makes announcement
President Gray is willing to meet in Turkducken or the preferred
meeting place of Colombia and resolve the issue peacefully. As
to the punishment of this "Foti", President Gray leaves
judgement up to the Secretary of Defense and Attorney General.
He does give a word of caution, however: if Confederate officers
are fired upon again and assaulted in any way, then appropriate
actions will be taken.

Preston accepts to meet in Columbia with the Turks in company.
However, Preston wishes to deal with "Foti" at a state level.

The President grants Preston's request, but wishes for CBI
agents to be allowed to investigate the incident surrounding the
attempted shooting. Otherwise, Foti may be imprisoned and tried
at a state level for his crimes.
