The Colombian Retaliation
By: Columbia Confederates Date: August 2, 2015, 8:40 am

OOC: I'm sorry everyone if I crossed the line. I want everyone
to get involde in this thread! Throw support to one side or the
other? Do you support a nation claiming its state rights have
been violated or will you side with federal officials who claim
the nation rogue? Or will there be some kind of changes of
hearts? Please get involved this can be a huge and awesome
storyline! Again i am sorry, I crossed the line, but here is a
new beginning!
================================================================
============================
Set up: Following the passing of a bill that created a federal
police force and the possibility of the passing of a bill which
would allow federal officials to enter a state to investigate
nuclear deals, Columbia's Governor has authorized military
protection surrounding the borders. War blimps, anti-aircraft
guns, and "steam-tanks" have also been deployed. Huge focus
points of protection include the cotton plantation town of
Jericho which rests on a river the Colombians call Sumter and
the capital city of Georgetown. Preston made a statement
following the actions saying.
PRESTON: "We believe our government has overreached its powers
it was granted. We would like this to go to court but this is a
mere precaution. It will be up to them (the feds), whether or
not we go to war. We do have allies and we can easily make new
ones."
Columbia has a vast diversity in environment. The northern parts
are much more mountainous and dip into deep tree filled plains.
Mid and southern Columbia is perfect for crop harvesting as it
is relatively flat and humid and gets plenty of rain.

The confederate government legitimately exists only at the will
of its constituent states. Individual state nullification of
confederate overreach is a crucial part of the system. Any
state, big or small, has the right to protest such actions taken
by the confederate government as may be seen to overstep the
bounds placed upon it by its constituents. It is the right of
all states within this union to declare their noncompliance with
such usurpations of confederate trust. The nation of Frijstaat
stands firmly on the side of the efficacy and legality of
constituent nullification of NCSA actions when deemed excessive
and beyond their traditional scope.

In Secret
King Spartacus request of Governor Preston to allow Spartan
soldiers build a military base in your state to mutually benefit
both states. This base would be a medium sized Air Force and
Army base and we will pay if need be. We absolutely support your
cause but warn that strong diplomatic peace talks should be made
before the case of war.
Sparta begins sending large transports carrying engineers and
other building materials. Behind these transports come the
soldiers, tanks, and artillery. Behind these come the food and
water and medical supplies. There are two F-15 Eagles assigned
to each transport(10 transports=20 fighters) and they are bound
to arrive soon.

OOC: Sparta, you don't have the range. You're thousands of miles
away from shore. It's 4,200 miles or so from Hawaii to
Columbia...
IC:
As part of the new law, a large group of federal officers were
transferred to the border of Columbia. While in vans, they
carried only pistols with them, and they had an armory truck
behind them, which carried the larger weapons for their version
of the SWAT team. The van didn't carry anything very large;
filled with mostly NCG-M1A1s and NBR-38s with scopes for
sniping, and some body armor. Most of the officers, however,
carried only 9 mm side arms, if that. The first of the ten vans
stopped at the border and showed their badges, passports, and
other identification to show they were of Government origin.

OOC: My navy would take them almost to the shore as far into
Golden Coast Waters as they could.
News Statement
"As of today I request President Gray to halt this impediment of
state's rights. As of now the officials may be turned back from
Spartan shores. We do not want this but it is for their own
safety from the angry mobs calling for rebellion against the
government. We are attempting to halt these riots but as of now
they still rage across Sparta, mostly in Sparta City(Hawaii
Island) against NeoConfederate Officials." King Spartacus said.

((What navy, Sparta? What aircraft carriers? How big of a
transport? Remember, carrier transports are very, very small.))
IC:
Good Morning, NCSA. I've been seeing some odd things
happening in the NCSA lately, and they've been troubling me
lately. The biggest one is the blatant disregard for the NCSA
government. If I recall correctly, no state has the right to
nullify a law that was constructed in the NCSA government. We
cannot, therefor, condone any state, any government, or any
group that goes against the NCSA law. We are throwing our full
support behind the government to see the Officers allowed in any
and all states. In fact, I believe that the disregard of that
same law is a Confederal Offense, and warrants the arrest of the
men responsible. We cannot let states do things like that. As of
now, until those states lift those policies of disregarding the
NCSA's CBI...
We will impose economic pressures, and will boycott goods of
those same lands. Please change that policy. I challenge you.
Long live the NCSA.
Long live Order.
Long Live DEN.
OOC: What do you mean what navy? And yes it is small but I'm
sending a lot and this is going to be a hastily built base.
IC:
"We will allow them into our state but we cannot be held
responsible for the damage they cause to the NCSA officials. We
await the arrival of these officials but they cannot and will
not be allowed into the state unless they sign a waiver
relinquishing the Spartan government of all responsibility if
the Spartan people damage the officials."

OOC: I mean how big is it.... And what kind of aircraft carriers
are you using? Remember, it has to be conventionally powered,
and sending one out is a lot of money.
IC: Albert Dawning has just offered to send military escorts
with the confederal officers heading to Sparta, but no waiver
will be filed. Spartans are responsible for Spartans, and both
Albert Dawning and Emperor Maximus agrees on that point.
Spartans who attack the officials would be arrested on charges
of battery against Government Officials, and likewise if the
soldiers would be attacked they'd be court-martialed. On this
note, DEN has offered to send Namenian soldiers to protect
government officials heading to Sparta, seeing as Sparta is an
ally of sorts, and there is no infrastructure in place to send
such a large amount of people to anyplace off the mainland.

OOC: Same as the USA and Yeah I know it hasn't been sent out yet
until I get permission.
IC:
King Spartacus agrees to allow the NeoConfederate Government in
and will supply guards themselves from the city militia but not
from the regular military. He asks when the officials will
arrive?
Also OOC: Is it treason to actually attack the NCSA government?
Like ICly I realize it is but I mean is it punishable OOCly?

OOC: No, you don't have the Nimitz... That's over 13 BILLION
DOLLARS, and is Nuclear powered. You could have smaller
conventional ones, but that's too big. And no, it's not
punishable OOCly, I don't think...
IC: The officials will arrive, via plane, in 10 hours.
