Welcome to the Michael Bellandese Memorial Arena for this soccer
match between the Cream Stalwarts and Diddyland Dynamo.
1st minute - Andres Willis starts the play with a pass to Oliver
Wagner who sends the ball forward to Harvey Griffin. He can't
control the ball well but still somehow manages to give it to
Willis who puts the ball into the net from 8 meters distance.
New score: Dynamo 1 - 0 Cream Stalwarts
64th minute - Andres Willis lays it up for Harvey Griffin, and
the experienced player hits the ball perfectly from the edge of
the box and lobs the ball over Vincent Piranelli into the long
corner of the goal.
New score: Dynamo 2 - 0 Cream Stalwarts
87th minute - Harvey Griffin looks for Myron Hawkins, doesn't
hit the ball cleanly but totally uncontrolled the ball still
gets to him. The dynamic player can still stop the ball and
beats Vincent Piranelli with a low shot from 8 meters distance.
New score: Dynamo 3 - 0 Cream Stalwarts
So in the same arena where the Cream Stalwarts beat the Dynamo
with this exact score, revenge has been taken and now the
Dynamo, for the first time in this season is leading. This means
nothing, though, as there are still enough matches for the Cream
Stalwarts to win.
Positions:
1 - Diddyland Dynamo - 2 wins
2 - The Cream Stalwarts - 1
Stay tuned for the basketball match between the West Phoenician
Scorpions and the Diddyland Pilots

The West Phoenician Scorpions win against the Diddyland Pilots
OOC: When I had almost finished with the entire match report, my
computer crashed and everything was lost. I don't remember the
exact score, let alone how many points each player had made, and
it's basically impossible to re-simulate that exact game. I also
don't feel like writing the entire damn thing again. So, West
Phoenicia wins, end of story.
IC:
So here are the standings for the NCSA basketball league:
1 - Diddyland Pilots - 2 wins
2 - West Phoenician Scorpions - 1

OOC: Guys, I'm somewhat short of time. I hope it's ok if I just
post the results and standings for each day, instead of writing
down entire match reports for each match. That would mean, that
player names are no longer required. Hope that's ok. Otherwise,
tell me.
IC:
Welcome to NCSA Sports News!

OOC: I would think it's acceptable to delay posts, since your
the one running this entire thing, player names make it feel
more involved and more detailed. But do whatever.

Thanks for the feedback!
I might keep it as a news show, summing up the games; but a bit
more detailed than now, with names again.

Welcome to NCSA Sports News.
Today at the Hilton Arena, Harald City, the Diddyland Pilots
beat the West Phoenician Scorpions by 122 - 110. The Scorpions
were leading after the 1st quarter, but a dominant 2nd quarter
from the Pilots, in which they scored 46 points brought them on
a winning path that they did not leave for the rest of the game.
Gene Gomez (DID) was the man of the match, scoring 45 points.
Michael Chapps had a decent performance for the Scorpions,
scoring 19 points.
So here are the current NCSA basketball standings:
1 - Diddyland Pilots - 3 wins
2 - West Phoenician Scorpions - 1
This means that if the Pilots win their next match, they will be
champions.
-----------------------------------------------------
Later today, at the Rogers Arena, Vancouver, the Cream Pies beat
the West Phoenician Heatwaves by 6-5.
The Heatwaves scored the first goal, but the Cream Pies answered
with three quick goals.
Xi Xu Wu scored the Heatwaves 2nd goal and gave the Heatwaves
the motivation to also score their third and tie the game.
This, ladies and gentlemen, all happened in the first period.
The score after period 1 was 3-3.
Rob Pastor gave the Cream Pies another lead right at the
beginning of the second period, but Peter North III did not
hesitate to tie the match, again!
So then the Cream Pies scored another goal, just for the
Heatwaves to tie the match, again!
So the second period ended with 5-5.
Not long before the end of the match, the Cream Pies scored
their 6th goal, and this time the Heatwaves were not able to tie
the match again, and so the Cream Pies went out of this battle
victorious.
So, here are the NCSA hockey standings:
1 - The Cream Pies - 2 wins
2 - West Phoenician Heatwaves - 1
3 - The Diddyland Freezers - 1
If the Cream Pies manage to win @ the Diddyland Freezers, then
they'll be crowned champions. It will be an interesting match,
as the previous encounter between both teams had ended with the
only victory for the Freezers and the only defeat for the Cream
Pies in this season.
----------------------------------------------
So, that's all for today.
Have a good night!

Welcome to NCSA Sports News!
Today, at the Plantation stadium, Deception Bay, the West
Phoenician Confederates were able to win their first baseball
match by beating the Columbia Rebels at home by 7 - 3. 6 of the
Confederates' points were scored in the 3rd inning, quite
curiously.
That leaves the standings as follows:
1 - Diddyland Lions - 2 wins
2 - Columbia Rebels - 1
3 - West Phoenician Confederates - 1
----------------------------------------------
Today was actually a great day for West Phoenician sports,
because at the Blackfoot Hills Stadium in Fort Blackfoot, West
Phoenicia, the West Phoenician War Dancers absolutely hammered
the Coastal Crusaders by 55 - 13.
Timothy Emanon, the War Dancers' RB, was the man of the match,
rushing for 208 yards and scoring 3 touchdowns.
QB James Emanon also enjoyed a great game, throwing 3 touchdown
passes.
So here are the NCSA football standings:
1 - Diddyland Blue Devils - 3 wins
2 - West Phoenician Confederates - 2
3 - The Coastal Crusaders - 0
That means that the Coastal Crusaders finish their season
winless. They'll have to try to improve for the next season.
In the last match of the season, the West Phoenician
Confederates will attempt to tie the season, forcing an
additional final match between both teams. If they fail to win,
the Diddyland Blue Devils will win the season undefeated.
So, that's a match that we're all definitely looking forward to!
And that ends todays news program.
See you again tomorrow, have a good night!
