Short Description of our States or Nations

I propose that we leave a short one word or description of our
State here to assist in finding common ground. Using IRL
examples or otherwise, I will begin.
The Confederate State of Turkducken
IRL comparison: USSR
Short Description: A recently recovered war torn monarchy
reformed into a Democratic Republic that has a leader for life.
Despite low levels of social personal development of the people
of Turkducken (Villages, Dated Technology, Tribalish) we have a
burgeoning Space Agency and Nuclear Energy Program. Unlike the
USSR I would imagine the government is cooperative and friendly.
On a side note I thank Diddyland for helping me come to this
realization. Why he/she did not directly give me this idea,
he/she did give me the realization that I had made this.

The United Socialist States of Die Erworbenen Namen
IRL comparison: Jeez, probably the USA.
Short Description: In this western, NATO-esque spin on the USSR,
communism and the military is very, very big. Most of DEN is
filled with snow, but still people somehow manage to survive,
thanks to the government. The economy is very military oriented,
and nearly everyone has served at one point. Food is the major
issue, and is supplemented by stockpiling food and buying it in
bulk. No one in DEN is given excess, but everyone is still given
a choice. While heavily communist, and very taxed (96%+), each
person earns a very good income of at least 120,000 Acquireds a
year, before being taxed. Everything they need, including a base
house, a base car, internet, phone service, medical care, food,
etc., is supplied by the government, while their allowance
allows them to purchase more if they want. Because of this,
products inside DEN are rather cheap.
The people of DEN are very friendly and fit, and are very happy
to share a drink if given the chance. A mix between Germany and
Russia, everyone learns English in addition to Namenian, and
courses in German and Russian are very commonplace. Almost
everyone looks intimidating, because of the sheer cold in some
places. However, the landscape is very, very beautiful and
tourists are everywhere.

To clarify really fast it doesn't have to be an IRL comparison,
just so long as it exists, somewhere, and that I could
potentially Google it if I wanted.

The Federation of Enduranca
RL comparisons: Japan, England, USA
Short Description: A country founded by pure chance by a group
of isolationists (see history: Voyage of the Endurance

/>Civil rights are held dear, and although the country is trying
to be environmentally friendly, several large-scale disasters
have rendered most of the land barren and inhospitable.
Enduranca is a technologically savvy nation, and with the help
of allies is making leaps and bounds into new frontiers. The
military is moderate but proud, and the economy is booming. The
citizens are hard-working but friendly, although the wealthy and
elite are viewed with suspicion.

Diddyland
IRL comparison: Now thinking about it, probably something like
the Netherlands, I guess.
Short description:
Diddyland is a capitalist nation of peace and innovation. We
have a powerhouse economy, free healthcare, education and lots
of sports opportunities, despite only having a moderate income
tax (around 30%).
Also, we have no "secret police" or censorship. On the internet,
for instance, Diddyans can do whatever they please.
Diddyland has no military because the government trusts the
fellow nations to not attack Diddyland, as Diddyland never does
anything to offend/provoke anyone.

IRL comparison: Antebellum USA, Ancient Phoenicia, Ancient
Greece and Ancient Rome
The Kingdom of West Phoenicia is a sprawling friendly nation. We
believe in traditional values and its a society where everyone
knows its place with the wealthy and nobility and religious
leaders at the top of the pecking order. While all civillians
have rights we have education and health care for all. For those
who can afford it there are private schools and private
hospitals as well as created areas designed only for the
wealthy.
An agricultural giant it relies on doing things the old
fashioned way and so has a large labor force both paid and
volunteers from people serving prison sentences. . Yet our
capital cities are marvelled at our architecture achievement of
both modern and Antebellum design. Its a state of museums,
libraries, shopping complexes, operas and other cultural
achievement.
West Phoenicia has a large standing military that is modern but
we rarely goto war. Opponets of our nation are usually dealt
with by other methods we let our Scorpions and poisonous snakes
deal with our enemies.
The state is devout with most of the population adhering to the
State church under the leadership of Pontifex Angelika I or for
the pagan territories under the leadership of High Priestess
Margie Brixton. The state holds morality as a tenet of
citizenship.

Amerikanisches Reich
IRL comparison: Nazi Germany (probably obvious :) ), with a
little Antebellum South (not that I'm comparing them, it's just
the location)
Short description: The AR was founded when refugees from the
Third Reich and its European allies (and a few from Japan)
flooded into their allied NCSA State, Northeast Carolina, which
gave them asylum. Since the immigrants -- overwhelmingly,
Germans and Austrians -- constituted a majority, they were
easily able to alter the system of government within a decade,
without too much resistance. It's now very similar to Nazi
Germany, but the change in leadership has had a huge impact.
Notably, whilst still adhering to crazy racial theories, the AR
is not genocidal and simply exiles people or prohibits their
citizenship. It also of course can't be as ambitious as Germany
was and, so, is just a little less militant and much less
expansionist.
It maintains the same focus on social engineering, and promotes
above all the unity of the (selective) population, its health,
"purity", and the preservation of its culture, which is a
combination of German and American folkways fiercely protected
from outside influence. Life is strictly regimented and citizens
tend to be members of organizations formed along pseudo-military
lines, if not serving in the military in truth -- for example
the Bund Amerikaner Mädel, or League of American Girls/Maidens.
Oddly, the Reich is also known for its love of nature and
animals -- though hunting is a favorite recreational activity --
and encourages outdoor excursions.
The AR government is a one-party fascist dictatorship or
oligarchy, depending on the power of the titular sovereign, and
its economy is Third Positionist (major private industry being a
bit subordinated to the interests of the state, and with a good
deal of socialist policy as well, more or less).

The Kingdom of Sparta
IRL Example: Great Britain
Description:
The Kingdom of Sparta occupies the Hawaiian Islands and was
founded when immigrants from Greece came to The NCSA soon after
it was founded. Sparta has a huge military with the largest
standing military in the NeoConfederate Sates. The people of
Sparta tend to try diplomatic course/pressure before war but
they don't shy away from war. They are 90% Roman Catholic,
8%!Islamic, and 2% that do not follow a religion.
Sparta has a very strong economy with the powerhouse being in
agriculture and fishing departments. The welfare of Sparta
depends on keeping allies with several states that can supply
Sparta with gas, lumber, and other raw materials. Spartans are
considered the "bankers" of the sea as they dominate the Pacific
in trade and are trying to extend their trade power to the
Atlantic.
Although Sparta is a youthful, young state they have been
showing signs of one day being a powerhouse of the
NeoConfederate States.
