OOC: My capital city is Landfall, and takes up the location of
Seattle-Tacoma. And yes, there are manholes, but they're secured
well.
IC:
"Copy that, Hammer. We'll close him in." The two helicopters
rattled forward and split off, aiming to track wherever he went.
"Hammer, this is Predator Hotel," the female voice of the drone
pilot called in from miles away. "Be advised I am packing
nonlethal incap weapons, tear gas and smoke rockets. Offer me a
location to drop and I'll fence him."
While the chase was occurring, police were advising civilians to
stay indoors or evacuate, if possible. Police escorted them
through back ways, leaving the roads clear for the convoy all
the way to the action.

What... The... Hell... Sparta...
That's not even possible. For one, your guy would drown as the
VAN SLAMS INTO HIM. For another, you realize that you cannot
simply teleport across the bloody city into the water!
You couldn't jump out; by the time you unbuckle you would slam
(still inside the van) into the water. You'd be doomed by now.
There's no time to escape like that. This ISN'T hollywood!

OOC: From the location it is possible. He pulled into a backroad
that is near the water. He doesn't have his seatbelt on in the
first place! The van wouldn't land on him as he jumped clear of
it. It is very possible.

OOC: Unless he was driving through the port, most of the
backroads would be further inland- as I assumed the location of
the mall to be. Even then, police would be herding him away from
the water.
And that breathing technique would probably only work in calm
waters. The bay would be choppy, so he'd probably be breathing
water half the time.

OOC: You never said backroad a would be away from the water OR
the police would be herding him away from water. I looked on a
map and the main highway has several back roads near the water
so this is plausible.

(Yeah but this is not a real life city, Sparta. Its not
hollywood either. You can't do hollywood stunts. At the speed
you're going, your van would hit the waves before you got out,
and then you would've been slammed into the door. Either that,
or hit the water at 50+ mph. Its all your choice, of course. And
he doesn't need to say he's herding you away from the water: its
common sense. You have the same issue I did before (and
sometimes still have): Drama. You want a dramatic entrance,
dramatic exit, dramatic war. You want as much of it as possible.
But you don't look for whether or not it's actually possible;
you look at Fast and Furious for your inspiration.)

Damn. They are boxing me in. Well may as well do my best to take
out as many of them as possible. Lincoln thought.
Lincoln pulled out his pistol and fired three shots aimed at the
lead cars tires. He then buckled himself in and turned to get
back onto the main highway he sped up traveling at 90 mph.

OOC: Yeah I know. He realizes trying to escape is futile as
you'd most likely shoot out his tires so he's going to try to
crash into your cars and get away.
