Colombian Government Launches State's Rights Group
By: Columbia Confederates Date: July 20, 2015, 9:17 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Amidst turmoil over two controversial bills (Nuclear Weapons and
Federal Police Force), the Colombian Government, lead by a
state's right attorney, Teddy Butler, have formed a State's
Rights Group called the "Colombian States Association" (CSA).
Butler called for other states to join with the Colombian people
to bring this case to the Supreme Court. Governor Grant Preston
authorized military deployment around the state's borders to
keep out federal agents and military personnel. While Preston is
not looking for war he does say that he will be ready to "defend
Columbia". Butler said he hopes this is handled civilly in a
court of law instead of on the battle field. "I think y'all know
that we don't want to fight. We want this to go to a civil court
where we can discuss the matters at hand. But if we are to be
classified as a rogue state, harassed, and infiltrated I can't
say it will end well." Top end Generals are on the scene in
multiple regions but have all claimed it to be a "precautionary
matter". Stay tuned for updates regarding the situation!

       BREAKING NEWS!
Following the signing of the Alternate Confederal Police and
Prisons Act, Governor Grant Preston, Representative Spoke, and
state's rights leader Teddy Butler have spoken out yet again.
With a nuclear trade bill currently in the works, the Colombian
government has spoken about how it feels the bills are a
overreach of constitutional authority. General Santos has been
given authority to send out 10,000 extra troops around the
       northwestern border.
Teddy Butler went to Daniel's Landing, a small farming town near
the Sumter River, and spoke to the people regarding the moves
made by Congress in recent weeks. "We aren't going to war, let
that be clear. But we need to let Congress know that a state has
the right to nullify a law it deems unconstitutional. We are
hoping that this will be brought to the Supreme Court. We are
happy that we have allies though in this that also believe this
needs to be brought to the Supreme Court."
Governor Grant Preston and Spoke were spotted near Richmond,
leaving a bar. Preston plans to speak at the Hill in the coming
       weeks.
General Santos has said that while war is not being declared he
did go on the record as to saying "...so we've been given the
orders that if military crosses into our borders, we are to
shoot." Asked whether that included federal officers and even
the president he said he wouldn't discuss the matter but hinted
that the state of Columbia has "complete respect for the
       President".
