OOC: Yeah that is a legal proceeding in government. For a IRL
historical perspective this happened under Andrew Jackson's
Presidency the so called "Nullification Crises"

Hypothetical question, what if a bill was passed to create a
Marshall law in a state and only that state being subjected to
Marshall law was opposed the ideal? Does that mean that state
must bow to the rest of the states and allow such actions to
happen? We will withdraw some troops, if the bill does not pass
       we will withdraw all troops.

Look, we've all been talking in OOC here, but in all honesty,
that's called an Executive order. Yes, LEGALLY, you have to
follow it... but that won't happen, because that would be
unconstitutional. Why would he do that to JUST you? You could,
however, pass Marshal Law on your own state.

We will just have to see whether it is passed or not.

West Phoenicia understands your grievance. We urge the Nation of
Columbia to become more vocal in Congress. That is where we need
you to fight to block bills that may affect your state. And to
help pass bills that will make you prosper.
and even if they pass a bill you can still challenge it in the
       Supreme Court.

COLUMBIA INCREASES BORDER PATROL AFTER ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT OF
PRESIDENT NORTH: Federal officers reportedly tried to enter
border but were halted by state militia men
Colombian officers recently put in place multiple anti-aircraft
guns around the borders as well as a additional 500 troops
around the capital of Georgetown following a attempted
assassination of President North. During investigations
regarding the whereabouts of the assassin, federal officers came
to the Colombian border farm town of Jericho but were halted by
a group of militia men. After federal vehicles came to the
scene, Governor Preston ordered anti-aircraft guns at Jericho
and a extra 500 troops around Georgetown apparently. This would
skyrocket the number of troops in Georgetown to roughly 1000.
Many other states have come to the aid of Columbia's states
rights cause and are planning on showing military support for
       Columbia.

No such officers were present, and at this point, we'll just
post our own troops to let them in, buddy.
