Disaster at the Curiosity Space Center!
The "Redrock" class rocket exploded at launch later today. While
the immediate cause of the explosion is unknown, investigations
and cleanup has already begun. The President had this to say:
A great tragedy struck our Space Program today, this was
supposed to be our first step into Space, it is now an important
reminder of the need of quality control in our industry and
production sectors. We cut corners in developing these rockets
and we have surely paid the price for it, I will personally
enact stricter quality controls to ensure that this would never
happen again.
Enduranca sends their condolences about the failure of the
rocket, but takes the opportunity to remind the region that
"spaceflight is difficult... we are doing our best here, but
sometimes it just doesn't work. But that doesn't mean we give
up. We just keep going."
Assistance with cleanup and accident investigation is offered,
and the North Columbia Launch Facility is offered for temporary
launches- payloads can be delivered to the nation, then launched
via Icarus rockets.

After several days of cleanup, and another construction of yet
another "Redrock" rocket the launch was successful and the
rocket successfully made it into the Mesosphere, the extreme
temperature of the Mesosphere froze the right side of the rocket
and only one of its auxiliary parachutes was deployed in time,
however the rocket suffered only minor damage open landing. The
launch has been rated a success by Enduracan observers and
Turkducken scientific officials. Three more launches are
planned, and expected only to confirm the results of the
precious launch.

The ESA confirms the successes of the rocket flights, and
congratulates Turkducken with their successes.
The ESA has taken their knowledge from their Starshine space
station and delivered a proposal for both agencies to create a
larger, permanently inhabited space station- called project
SURTSEY.

The ESA proposes the following design for a station, for now
codenamed SURTSEY:

Sentry and ARTEMIS rockets will be used to launch each module,
to be assembled in orbit. Soyuz capsules will transport crews,
and unmanned versions will deliver supplies.
