RP-wise, the mark is fixed to the Confederate dollar or nummus,
with monetary policy being adjusted accordingly.

UPDATE:
With the Reich economy improving, it's now a very convenient:
1 mark = $0.33
$1.00 = 3.01 marks
In RP this means that one mark must be printed to represent the
equivalent value of three Confederate dollars in the Reich
economy -- i.e. that the Reich prints 1/3 the currency it would
if it used its own without tying it to the value of the CSD --
but that an RP mark is equal in value to a Confederate dollar.
This monetary policy is designed to facilitate interstate trade,
and monetary/financial interactions with the central NCSA
government.
