Diplomatic Mission to USSDEN

His Grace, Emperor Anastasios XII, has given word to the High
Officials of DEN of his possible future arrival given the "okay"
response. He has already announced that his intentions are
clear, secure and establish a non-aggression pact and a
defensive alliance. Personally acknowledging the superior
military might of their northern neighbor, he has noticed
strategic advantage to having this alliance in the event of a
possible war. An almost guaranteed win. An unmissable
opportunity not worth passing up, lest the enemy gain the upper
hand. Emperor Anastasios is a strategist and opportunist after
all, these things are very clear to him. Straight forward, he
usually does not dabble in political schmoozing, a weakness,
maybe. If he wanted a kiss up he would have sent his Minister of
Foriegn Affairs, though this mission was to important to be left
up anyone but himself.
OOC: The only thing that should be really addressed is the
request, the rest are his 'secret plans' and his own personal
description. Apologies, I would do subtle hints for his
personality, but I don't have the time. :/

The Emperor of DEN has given the 'Okay' to the Emperor of the
Eastern Byzantine. He will be given a full aerial escort once he
enters the airspace, as there is a massive war against Sparta
going on.

Emperor Anastasios thanks the Emperor of DEN for accepting his
meeting and is grateful for the military escort. The Emperor
shall be flying with two F/A-18 Hornets, for his own personal
safety as he flies over troubled waters and shall be handing off
to DEN once they enter your airspace. The Emperor boards a
private jet which taxis off from Portland International, along
with his own personal escorts. ETA: Five Hours

The jet flew soundly over the Pacific ocean, their escorts
tailing close behind. All seemed clear, for now, though the
Emperor hoped the Spartans weren't foolish enough to shoot down
a Representative on a diplomatic mission. This war being in such
close proximity to their lands was very alarming, he had not
known of anything of such scale be right outside this doorstep.
He would have a word with his Minister of Defense when he got
back, for the safety of his people was his utmost priority.
Thankfully, his Foriegn Minister informed him of a beneficial
deal that was struck between Ravkan Bluffs and themselves
hopefully solving any border disputes. It was nearly eight now,
though the sun was still shining, however a bit lower in the
sky. They were heading closer to DEN airspace and the pilot
notified the closest air station of their arrival, the F/A-18s
turned away as the jet zoomed off into DEN.

The air was quiet until the five F-215s raced into the air,
pulling up and then leveling out to escort the passenger jet to
the mainland. They were camouflaged o match the color of the
ground below, a snowy greyish white. Each one had short range
missiles and two long range, but that couldn't be seen from
outside. As the lead pilot radioed in to the passenger jet, they
continued on to the capitol, dropping altitude to come in for a
landing.

The transition went smoothly, as the Enperor had hoped,
obviously thankful no incident had occurred. They were now
entering Nameian airspace, banking left slightly they began
their descent to the Capitol airport. After a couple of minutes
and an 'okay' from air traffic control, they made a steady
landing. Taxiing onto the Tarmac from the runway, the Emperor
began to disembark a couple yards away from the airport
entrance. Dressed in a warm fur coat, purple and laced with
gold, he had on modest jewelry, only that of his crown and
septre. He exited from the pressurized cabin of the private jet
into the cold Nameian weather, his unarmed secretary trailing
behind him.

The plane was taxied into the nearest hanger and a convoy of
some armored cars brought up, appearing at the doorstep within
seconds. A few men wearing trench coats came out and ushered him
in before running them off to the palace.
