His Excellency has noted your word, and wishes your traders and
shipwrights to begin immediately.

Waylon Sharpe of Confederate Appalachia sends his best, and
wishes access to a port on his Excellency's sovereign coast.
Appalachia would like to send trade goods through your borders
to be loaded and shipped region-wide. President Sharpe also
notes the possibility of an Appalachian warship to be
commissioned in order to protect trade goods on the high seas.

Would the economic goods require heavy transportation? Do you
have any buyers? The Warship, if President Sharp wishes to front
the expenses for production, can be constructed. Also His
Excellency would like to enter tentative economic talks.

Several planes full of traders with their goods and engineers
head to the new harbor to begin building the trade fleet.

Most of the goods can be shipped through air to the port,
however coal must be shipped by rail if large quantities are
required. Currently all our trade is over land, but port access
would open up another mode of trade currently impossible for us.
As for the warship, it has been designed and Appalachia will pay
for it's construction and maintenance. We will have our
engineers send the plans as well as the first payment.

Here is a projection of what it will look like finished.
We would be very interested in further talks regarding
economics.

The Carolina Alliance formally requests a port. The main usage
of the port will be trade with secondary docks for cruise ships.
The main items traded will be steel, satellite dishes, and solar
panels, but we can trade other goods at your request. In return
we shall pay a tax to the state of Turckducken.

OOC: To be clear, this is a port that exclusively trades with
me? Or a general commercial rental that I benefit from?

The Company approves the rental of a major commercial port, it
is located near the top of Chesapeake Bay. How is the tax paying
for the fees?

I don't understand the question. A tax is a fee, isn't it?
