OOC: You call me the hypocrite. You created a 10 megaton nuclear
weapon, a thermonuclear weapon, a 25 ton yield nuclear weapon,
and ICBMs. In three days. Also, you have to RP out the darts
being launched and heading to the states and name what states so
those states can retaliate.

OOC: I have a 250 kiloton nuke, Sparta. I think a 25 ton yield
nuke is WELL within the limits. I already have ballistic
missiles, dummy. With my smartest scientists on the work, and a
massive yield nuclear weapon, I think I'd be able to create a
nuclear weapon with 10 megatons quite easily.
Dude, i live with RP. you think I don't know this? I'll get to
it in later. If you don't mind, I'll delete the OOC posts?

Following the expected deployment of multiple recon, second and
first strike, and forward warning items, the government has been
exploring the idea of a Over The Horizon radar system (OTH) to
monitor the area far out. Currently, the coasts are being
equipped with Groundwave radar systems, utilizing the
conductivity of water to get a range of 80 miles. In addition to
this defense, several sonar buoyes, and multiple offshore radar
stations utilizing the same idea are under construction, to give
the government unprecedented early warning in case of attack.
Once the coast is completed, a 360 degree OTH radar station at
the Capitol, named OTH HOCHBURG, will be constructed, having an
expected range of 800 miles. The new naval base being built in
Heavenly Paradise will also have an OTH radar station with 360
degree coverage, extending 700 miles. At every city in DEN, a
large OTH radar station will be built, and several 60 degree
coverage OTH stations facing the south and south east will be
built, with a range of 1,500 miles, and able to register nuclear
explosions over 3,000 miles away. On the edge of DEN waters, a
massive OTH radar station will be built, giving DEN the ability
to watch the entire pacific.
In Heavenly Paradise, a second OTH designed to watch the
mainland is under construction. It will have a range of 1,300
miles, and can detect any nuclear detonation at 3,000 miles.

The OTH radar stations have been completed, and a large sonar
net is being constructed between the HP base, labeled Base of
Paradise, and the edge of DEN to all around. This massive sonar
net will be one of two sonar nets designed to detect submarines
from any nation without fail, and is very powerful. It currently
has begun measuring, reading, and recording all sorts of sonar
readings.
In addition to the recent developments, a large SLBM has been
developed with a range of 6,000 kilometers, and a warhead yield
of twelve MIRVS, each wielding 750 kilotons of thermonuclear
power, enough to wipe out a city. The yields of weapons have
begun being upgraded, and the search for a 100 megaton nuclear
weapon is being developed, with the thermonuclear weapon of 25
megatons already built (Sparta doesn't have this because he
didn't research fusion reactions yet). In addition, fusion
reactors are being looked into, but progress is discouraging.

Base Paradise has recently finished construction of several
missile silos holding ballistic, anti ballistic, and
intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as every kind of
ballistic and cruise missiles. A large amount of SAM sights,
included boosted long range SAM silos with over 500 mile range.
The massive airfields have been completed, and multiple hangers
have given the base unprecedented naval and long range control
over the area. They now have immense power and can effectively
pose a threat to more and more people.
In addition, the nuclear subs have finally been launched. Twenty
Four Alpha class ballistic submarines, and 36 fast attack
submarines from the fleets have been launched. Even the newest
four Beta I Class subs have been launched, as well as 5 of the
newest Tetrarch Class hunter/killer subs. Multiple hulls of each
class has been laid down, and will now be augmented with the
newest missile warheads. Four of the Tetrarch class, and the
four Beta I class subs are being sent to Sparta, half from the
north, half from the south, and will stick within 1000 miles of
Sparta, sometimes moving closer at perhaps 250 miles from their
shore. The Attack Subs are there to search and hunt enemy subs,
but not kill them; rather track them silently, and perhaps trick
them into moving away from the Ballistic subs, which are to hide
as best as they can from the enemy.
The last Tetrarch class, which will soon be accompanied by
another, will be hunting the western coast along with multiple
other Krepest Class attack subs to serve as a fast attack in
case of enemy detection, and provide intelligent tracking. All
subs are built in large bunker silos that hide their real shape

NASA has begun setting up a rocket launch site in the upper,
less inhabited regions. This rocket launch site is designed to
be large enough to launch shuttles in the future, and doubles as
a military base, and will be utilizing multiple airfields,
underground hangers, railway stations for transport, a bunker
for four railway guns, barracks for troops, housing for workers,
mobile and static SAM sites, two smaller, large ICBM sites that
double as both military and civilian sites, and a large missile
silo containing forty missiles ready to launch, with a depot
carrying eighty more underground. Several large warehouses to
hold civilian and military space projects will also be
constructed, and the first planned launch is a grouping of
military satellites disguised as weather and GPS satellites.
A large, very powerful rocket larger than the Saturn V is being
developed, that will have the ability to be recovered by
scientists and launched again. It will carry 15 school buses
worth of cargo, and will be comprised of two stages. There will
also be a series of smaller ones, designed for crew launches,
small cargo launches, satellite and module launches, etc. All in
all, there will be five classes, labeled the Orbiter Class, and
designated as Orbiter I (Crew) Orbiter II (small cargo) Orbiter
III (satellites) Orbiter IV (modules for space stations/medium
cargo/larger crew), and Orbiter V (largest rocket so far).
To go with this, a series of satellites labeled SA-DEN-M will be
launched. Each satellite will have high power thermal imaging,
high power cameras for recon, very high power radar to search
for possible ships, GPS abilities, and communications. There
will also be a series of specialized communication, recon, and
radar satellites labeled SA-DEM-Mr for Radar, c for
Communication, re for recon, and GPS for GPS.

The Air Force, navy, and Army are working to develop a 'smart'
cluster bomb. The bomb will have guided capabilities with a CEP
of 10 meters, and a range of 35 miles, working off inertial and
GPS guidance to it's target. Inside is twelve explosive
canisters carrying four individual bombs each. The smaller
bombs, nicknamed pellets, contain a laser and infrared scanner.
When the canisters are launched out of the bomb, each one fires
off four pellets in such a way that two pellets rarely target a
single target. These pellets then scan rapidly for a target, and
upon seeing one, fires off a 2lb directed energy charge with a
penetration of 400 mm RHA. It is designed to attack from the top
of the target, and currently there is no defense against it, as
it is a molten stream.
The pellet also fires off its shrapnel pads, showering the area
with deadly shrapnel. If a target is not found, it will detonate
or become inert, minimizing casualties.
This same cluster bomb can also be used to carry 12 HEAT or HESH
canisters, which are large HEAT or HESH warheads and are guided
by themselves.

With the Cluster bombs created and tested to complete accuracy,
DEN has recently begun the research of specialized tiles. These
tiles contain four major components: A ceramic/DU mesh armor, a
visual/infrared/light radar scanning, radar absorbing
components, and temperature changing. As such, it will be
hexagonal, and will be placed all over the tank to help hide
it's infrared signature. It works by cooling or heating up
specific tiles to blend into the surrounding environment, thus
decreasing the range of detection on infrared to nearly zero in
close quarters, as well as absorbing radar to make it truly
stealthy. The ceramic/DU mesh will provide additional protection
from penetrators as well as HEAT.

DEN has recently authorized the construction of fortress towers,
and above ground fortresses and bunkers. There are to be four
different types of FLaK towers:
[li]C Tower, or Combat Tower[/li]
[li]L Tower, or Lead (Command) Tower[/li]

[li]M Tower, or Missile Tower[/li]
[li]D Tower, or Defense Tower[/li]
Four Tower Complexes, featuring one Combat Tower, three Missile
towers, and one Lead Tower each will be installed in each city.
In the two Hochburg cities, eight complexes will be installed.
On foreign bases, only one of these will be installed away from
the main fortress.
Combat Tower
The Combat Tower is the largest of the four towers, and is
arguably the heaviest. It is also the most heavily armed and
armored, and is considered the center of most Tower Systems.
With the dimensions of 250 feet wide and 130 feet tall, the
system boasts six floors, and 20 feet of concrete in the wall,
with a classified composure. Below the tower is five levels of
62,500 square foot bunker complexes, with 30 feet of concrete as
well as it's own power supply in case of emergencies. These five
levels of bunkers connect to each of the surrounding towers, and
can be completely shut off in the event of an emergency or take
over. In addition, eight smaller bunkers surround the complexes
around 250 feet out from the tower, and are mainly used for
defense. Those bunkers sport 10 feet of concrete, and connect to
the main Tower. Around the tower as well is a series of three
trench lines, with razor wire at the front of the trenches, and
a wire mesh fence with razor wire as well. The top of the towers
feature battlements as well for infantry fire placements.
In addition to these deadly defenses, these near fortresses
contain six armored floors that can hold around 15,000 people,
and 20,000 in emergencies. The top floor holds around 100
hospital beds as well. The bottom of the 11 floors (5 with the
underground bunkers) holds a very well armored safe, with
additional armor for added protection, which can hold the
nation's treasures inside it, as well as ammunition. Above that
climate controlled bunker is a command bunker, and the rest of
the floors can be used for anything else they please.
The top of the towers feature a retractable 3D aerial radar,
fire control radar, satellite communications, and Electronic
Warfare masts that can be retracted behind an armored door in
the middle of an air raid. Besides that, the surface features 12
SAM-2 launchers, and 24 VLS modules in the middle. Four SAM-1
missile launchers are also present, to offer missile and aerial
defense. In addition to this, eight 120 mm guns (4x double
mountings), and 16 88 mm guns are on the system, protected by
concrete and able to traverse 360 degrees. Numerous dual 20 mm
systems can be found, as well, and as an added protection 40 mm
grenade launchers are common. As a normality, flood lights are
always fitted on the Towers to illuminate the battlefield below.
At all times, an underground garage is manned on one of the
Bunker levels, and can be filled with MRLS and MBTs for defense,
as well as SAM systems.
Lead (Command) Tower
The L Tower systems are similar to the other towers in that they
are 130 feet tall, but are 160 feet wide, nearly half the size.
They are still armored to the same amount, but sport much, much
more powerful radar and communications systems, and no real
heavy guns. Only four 88 mm guns are present on the tower, but
there are a larger selection of sensors onboard:
Artillery radar to detect incoming artillery rounds, advanced
tracking radar, long range aerial search radar, and other
systems are just some of the radar systems on board. And instead
of relying on heavy guns for defense, the system sports missile
defenses. Eight SAM-1s, 20 dual automated/manned 20 mm cannons,
and the same amount of missiles are onboard this monster.
Missile Tower
The M tower is armored the same, and has the dimensions of
300x300x50. The tower only sports four 120 mm guns, eight 88 mm
guns, and numerous 20 mm cannons as guns. It does, however, hold
many missiles inside. The middle holds four launch canisters for
the ability to launch anti ballistic missiles, and does so by
first ejecting them with a powerful launch. Around that is 16
SAM-3 tubes, 48 VLS launch tubes, and four Valkyrie launch tubes
for long range defense. It also features multiple mortar
positions, as do the other versions of the towers.
Defense Tower
A Defense Tower is a smaller, 100x100 foot tower that is used on
fortresses for defense. It still utilizes 4 120 mm guns, and 8
88 mm guns, as well as nine SAM-3 tubes, and 16 VLS tubes.
