They couldn't do much except wait. Just wait and settle down,
camouflaging themselves while keeping a moderate tag on the
others. They had cut the engines of their tanks, but the first
fight of the day was a Namenian. So there they sat... Until the
morning.

OOC: Sorry this took so long
Come dawn the Lt Colonel began a unit check. The armored
divisions were still in place and awaiting orders. His
nervousness had just begun to subside and began general security
sweeps along with low mobility surveillance. "This time," he
thought, "They will make the first move, and I will be ready."

((No worries. 1st Pic is the positions. 2nd is the movement
they're taking.))

Divisional Command
1st Division
The map was laid out on the table for all to see. With only a
few kilometers to really work with there, they had a distinct
advantage: Recon. But they needed more of it. The night had been
hard on the recon, and the only real knowledge of enemy
positions was the artillery position they had battered, the line
of suspected infantry, and the tanks to the south. That was the
only thing they knew for certain. But what they had to do first
was to remove the tanks, and the possible minefield in front of
them. And they could do one easily. The other, not so much.
"Comrades, now we can finally test to see what they were doing
in the area." Castro said with a smile. He had marked the area
in the middle of the map for an artillery barrage, but was just
going to fire off one to test it. "Are the lower batteries
ready?"
"Aye, Tovarishch General." The radio man replied, getting off
the radio with the artillery batteries in the south.
"Fire one round. I want to see it's results." He ordered. They
waited a little as the first round was confirmed launched, and
then the confirmation came in of detonation. The land had
instantly exploded more than they had expected, suggesting a
minefield.

"Radio HQ, Tovarishch. Adjust twenty meters west, and fire for
effect. Clusters from the rockets." The lieutenant ordered. The
man instantly radioed HQ to tell them of the success as the
Lieutenant stared down the lines, holding his binoculars. The
morning was so clear... and he could almost see the enemy lines.
"Artillery confirmed, sir! Rockets are opening up!" He said, and
the lieutenant nodded, turning back towards the front. It was
then, with the break of day, the first thing that fell upon the
morning light was the might of 150 rockets spewing their
submunitions onto the valley below. The noise was deafening;
even the men at the front lines could hear it, and they could
definitely see the hundreds of submunitions detonating on the
ground.
"Radio HQ. Confirm detonations!"

"Tovarishch General, we need more data." One of the General's
aides reported. Castro looked down, and saw what he meant. They
really had only guesses, though probably good guesses.
"Aye... And while we're at it, we can remove the tanks... or, at
least, damage them..." Castro said, and thought for a moment. He
moved a few pieces on the map, and nodded. "There. Send out the
Recon on a mission to scout out... and scout out the valley here
with the cavalry, as well as the open area in the middle. And
send the CAS squadron here, to knock out their tanks."
The man nodded and began radioing the airfield, asking for the
CAS companies and the Recon. Before the hour was out, 10 CAS
aircraft, and four Recon aircraft took to the skies, turning
into their ordered positions.

OOC: Do these antitank guns have AA capabilities? Or is that
your other type? Also, do I have any air units? Or is it meant
to be learning on how to grab victory, or at least defeat with
honor, from overwhelming odds?

((Considering that your units are actually Namenian soldiers
under your command, yes. They do. Although, no recon planes, but
still. You have 50 helicopters.))

"How could I be so dense?" the Lt. Colonel lamented, "I didn't
check for the Helos!" he took a breath and composed himself,
"But I can turn this around if I use this smartly. We have to be
alert, we are on the defensive." Quickly scrawling orders and
movements onto his map, he handed it to a young Namenian
Intelligence officer, "Deliver this to the commanders, we need
to be prepared. Let it be clear that these are all
reconnaissance movements, no one is to engage, when fired upon
retreat and regroup. Someone get Steel on the line, tell him
that one of the TD batteries needs to swap over to AA
capabilities, some of our boys saw what they thought was a recon
craft. Now," he thought, "We may stand a chance."
