Committees

The Congress has the ability, constitutionally, to set up
committees and other such bodies. I would like to exercise that
ability now to establish a committee to establish a clear set of
basic RP rules. These rules should clearly define what types of
actions are disallowed in general RP here and clearly define
those actions. For example.
NO GOD-MODING. What is god-moding? It is when you roleplay in
“god mode”. When you are in god-mode, you are posting actions
without allowing for player response, determining the outcome
of your actions upon others, and steering the roleplay to your
desired outcome.
To avoid this: every post you make MUST be an ATTEMPT and MUST
allow for the option of response.
Do I have volunteers for this committee?

Actually, if I may, I'd like to nominate Endurancan and
Turkduck. Both are rather realistic RPers.

The Amerikanis Reich is a great roleplayer who always keeps in
character, plays things out realistically, and goes into great
detail over posts. Therefore, I think it be wise to add her to
this committee.

Byzantium. Please begin drafting a set of basic RP rules for
presentation to the Congress, warfare rules need not be in them
at this time. Just something that can be used as a base
guideline for moderation. Please define offenses, don't just say
something like "no meta-gaming". We want this to be usable by
someone who may never have role played in their life as a
guideline for what good RP is.

Amerikanis Reich to sit on this committee, not me.
