       Do we have Highways?

       Hi I'm new here, and for the sake of being the newest member can
       someone let me know the economic, cultural, and political
       intricacies of the Neo Confederate States? Much thanks for any
       replies.

       The NCSA is, for all intents and purposes, a true confederacy.
       The central government only exists to handle certain matters
       that would be difficult for the several states to handle
       independently, such as relations with nations outside the NCSA
       and the military protection of the several states. It also has
       limited power over trade. For instance it is unconstitutional
       for one state to levy tariffs on another state's goods or to
       prohibit travel through it, except under clearly defined
       circumstances and even these are subject to the Congress. The
       Constitution also clearly states that the Confederal government
       derives its power from the states, not vice versa. So, what the
       situation is here, is that you have several small sovereign
       states who have banded together for mutual interest. Each state
       has different conditions in it and a different culture.
