A Letter From the Office of the President
From: President Johnathan Gray
To:Texas Gov. Adam Simpson
Dear Governor Simpson,
Firstly I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you and
and the Citizens of Texas for the brutal terrorist attack that
left innocent civilians dead. This attack was deliberately
planned and carried out by the Monarchist rebels, a force which
I wish to stop. I want to stop this bloodletting, and ensure
that the people of Texas are safe and secure from harm. With
that being said, I would like your clearance to place a military
force in Texas, primarily to act as a peacekeeping force to
safeguard civilans from any further terrorism and curtail the
ongoing violence. I want to work jointly with you on this issue
to end this strife and make the NCSA a safer place. I urgently
await your response.

A Letter in reply to President Gray of the NCSA
To: President Gray of Gondor
From: Governor Simpson of Texas
Dear President Gray,
Thank you for your letter, Mr. President and I would like to
apologize for the delay in a proper response. I think I speak
for all of the citizens of Texas when I say that we appreciate
your understanding of the massacre. The 15/30 terrorist attack
was tragic, and the families of those who have been sadly lost
have had a hard couple of weeks. However, speaking on the more
urgent matter, we will allow not only a Gondor military presence
in the State of Texas, but full cooperation of the agencies of
the two states. We feel that this would be the appropriate
choice of action, not only to prevent further attacks, but to
give our citizens a sense and feeling of safety. We only ask
that your troops treat our citizens with understanding, respect
and care. Thank you.

Secretary and Governor Simpson,
I was not speaking of Gondor's military. I was talking about the
newly established national military. I apologize if there was
any confusion on that subject. We would send the 1st and second
infantry divisions to act as a peacekeeping force to ensure that
no more innocent civilians can be killed. I have no control over
Gondor, as it is only my home. For Gondor's military to get
involved, King Aragorn would have to be the one to approve that.

King Aragorn has issued a statement that he will be deploying
active combat troops to Texas. He made a point to say that the
troops will be there to effectively end this civil strife.
Aragorn assures Texans that Gondor will treat them with the
utmost respect and understanding, as he has seen their plight.
Troops must be mobilized, but they will arrive in little time.

DEN has responded by making note of their 6th Spetsnaz Army in
the 4th fleet. Furthermore, they ask Texas to actually respond
to the troop's presence.

Governor Harrison would like to inform the President that all
Missouri troops currently in Texas are at his disposal and would
like to contribute them to a joint operation headed by
Confederal authorities.

The DEN troops have been met by Texas officials and the state
guard. However, an operation is being planned at the moment, so
they cannot be deployed right now.
