Before you can be put on the map I need your link, but as for
you land claim initial claims are limited to 32,020 square
miles. You could have the remaining portion of Illinois. Or half
of North Dakota or roughly half of South Dakota. You can't have
all though.
But you have one free expansion so you could get the remainder
of whatever choice you choose after five days.
Illinois however the northern part is owned so Id suggest one of
the Dakotas So you can expand more freely.

Well I will take North Dakota when it is rightfully available to
own it all.

You can't get an expansion until five days after your initial
claim is on the map So you need to pick something and go from
there.

So, you can have half of ND and then 5 days later once it's on
the map you can take the rest!
