((I'm going to be leaving out certain... conversations and
strategies, because I'm not going to give any of you the chances
to metagame like I know you guys will. If I say I'm going to
city B, how will you know? But, you'll go to City B instead of
going to City A, and you'll always "See" through my traps
somehow...))
Heavenly Paradise
250 Miles from the Coast
DEN 1st Fleet
DENS NAC-101 Yorktown
Why... why is their fleet still in the docks? With everything
going on.. it's like they've taken a defensive only position...
Castro thought as he looked at the table in front of him. The
table was filled with both maps, reports, and a computer screen
that showed a 4D map of the sea around HP, updating itself
constantly according to the information they gleaned. Right now,
the map had just updated to show a large presence of the enemy
around the docks, as well as the dry docks. Above all else...
the sheer thought of that confused him greatly. Why... why are
they there?
"Sir, you asked for me?" A voice piped up from the doorway. The
voice might have startled Castro and Admiral Withers, if not for
the fact that both of them were deep in thought and well trained
soldiers. Castro looked up and smiled. "Sir, the reports are in.
The rest of the fleet is right here. All 600 thousand soldiers
are ready for movement.
"Ahh. Good. Thank you. Bring them in. We've got to discuss some
things." Castro replied, and smiled.
*****
((Two Hours Later))
*****
"Aren't they very silly, hmm?" Castro asked, laughing. The idea
of this enemy of theirs was incredibly silly. Way too silly, in
fact, to be taken seriously. Still, their job was war. "Withers,
are the troops in position?"
"Yes, Marshal. They are. The aircraft are being notified. You
should have ten recon planes in the air with no problem. After
that, the rest of the aircraft you wanted will be on standby."
The Admiral said, smiling. He was waiting at the War Table. "Oh,
and yes. The hundred thousand soldiers are in position, just
north of HP in the white areas on the map. They should be fine.
They're guarded by Carrier Force Hornet. A carrier and her
battleship and group of escorts should be enough protection."
"Good, good... are the ships on standby for attack?" He asked,
and waited, thinking. He had a very devious plan in mind, but he
was careful about it. Spies could be anywhere. They could know
about his plan without trouble, it seemed. ((This is an OBVIOUS
lie, and more of a nudge in your direction saying 'stop trying
to be cheap and wiggle your way out of things you would never
know about, please...)) But still, they knew the plan. But no
one else would.
"Aye. They've got their cruise missiles loaded, sir. The
Ballistic Subs are in position, and I have word from Homeland
that they've readied their own ballistic missiles." He replied,
and thought for a second. "Oh, and the bombers are ready. Fifty
super heavy bombers and their aerial escorts should be ready to
move in no time."
"Good, good.... Launch the anti radiation missiles. Anti air
radiation, too. AEWACS has been picking up some large aircraft,
no? The shorter range passive scanners on our recon drones did
notice a large presence." He said, and smiled. This enemy would
not be able to escape so soon. The decks of the ships opened up
at the VLS modules, the combined fleet launching well over a
hundred Valkyrie ER missiles into the air and towards the
enemy's land, guided by the anti radiation guidance in the
missiles. The missiles, themselves extremely stealthy, would be
able to take out the enemy radar, perhaps. That in itself would
allow the entire enemy fleet to be bombarded from the air. Into
the air launched versions of the ALARM, with a booster to take
out the AEWACS from farther away than they could defend from.
"Launch the StormBolters at the few ships that were launched.
They'll be able to take out the enemy very easily on open
water... As for the fleet? While we still can, launch the
Bombers to bomb them. That idiot has the troops off for what
looks like rebuilding. Launch every last bit we can at them...
and move closer." He ordered, and the Admiral nodded, relaying
his orders. This was going to get very ugly very fast. In a
moment after relaying the orders, the VLS modules and missile
turrets opened up with an even more dangerous payload. Valkyrie
ERs and Bolters flew out of the VLS and side launch modules like
flies, and from the decks of carriers, over fifty bombers flew
up, loaded with guided 1000 pound bombs.

Multiple Ports of HP Naval Presence
It had been a quiet morning, and the navy had been on high
alert. But no one expected anything. It was only a blockade.
Then all of the sudden, explosions rang out all around the navy,
and all hell broke loose. Men were burning alive, ships were
sinking left and right, and they had been taken completely by
suprise. Much of Heavenly Paradise's navy and been decimated in
one fell swipe, and there was little that could be done. The
naval war was pretty much lost. Many cities had also been found
reduced to rubble by suprise bombing attacks. Huge explosions
ripped apart concrete, and people who had been minding their
early morning business were now nothing but charred remains.
Many SAM sites have been destroyed or damaged, as well as AA
installations around the North. About 1/3 of the Navy is still
operational, and vessels are fanning out to fight what will seem
to be a losing battle. Many Radar towers have been destroyed or
damaged, leaving some of the military in the dark, not to
mention the loss of radar planes.
***2 hours later***
250,000 national guard have been placed in Portland and are
supported by tanks, attack helicopters, and anti air batteries.
The air force is on alert and has scrambled 2 wings of G-41
interceptors to look for and detect any further bombers.
100,000 troops with the same support have been place in Eugene,
and 75,000 in Corvallis. All citizens have been advised to
evacuate to rural areas for their own safety.
Portland Command Center (underground)
The usurper King William III, or Junior as he was sometimes
called, stood in the Command room with his generals. They had
been hit, and hit hard. They should've seen it coming, yet they
didn't. What were they going to do?
He had revenge in his mind. But now was not the time. They had
to regroup. He gave orders that all bases were to be on high
alert, and called into active duty 300,000 reserves to support
the military already in action, and they were placed
sporadically in other cities around the state, numbering in
contingents anywhere from 20,000 to a few hundred in number. The
air force was to be on high alert, the mobile SAM vehicles were
to be moved, and the what radar remained had to be protected at
all times. Troops on the ground were told to be ready for
anything at any time.

"Targets confirmed hit. The enemy's fleet is mostly sunk in the
shallow dock waters, sir. We've managed to trap the enemy in the
docks, and as of now, the bombers are returning back to the
carriers." The Admiral reported, and smiled at the screen. There
was no casualties taken on their side, but the enemy had not
only been trapped in their docks, they had also been almost
obliterated. In fact, they were just about decimated. "Very good
operation. We've managed to trap the enemy, and we've managed to
sustain zero casualties. AEWACS and the Fleet, however, has
found multiple enemy aerial targets. Appears to be
interceptors."
"Damn... I didn't think of that. I should've bombed the
airfields while I could..." He said, swearing. He thought for a
moment. Maybe he still could... And the best part of this would
be that the enemy couldn't land back. They'd be stranded in the
air... And maybe... "Order each airfield targeted with four
IRBMs... Cluster, cluster, cluster, cluster mine. As soon as you
do, we'll need aircraft to intercept and drive the enemy
aircraft around in circles. As they look like interceptors...
They'll be less maneuverable and I doubt they'd be effective
against fighters. Oh, and Admiral? Our soldiers will be moving
in. Please cover us."
"Yes, sir. Immediately." The admiral replied, and left the room
to begin relaying his orders. The Admiral called over the entire
fleet and ordered them to move up to begin covering what seemed
like the advance of the soldiers of the Spetznaz. They were
ordered to move into gun range, at nearly 60 miles, and shell
the enemy dock and shore. As the fleet began moving in, the
order was relayed to Homeland to launch a plethora of IRBMs into
the airfields closer to the fleet. The missiles launched up into
the air from homeland, and began their targeting. "Castro!
They'll be here in a few minutes!"
"Good. Engage their fleet, and target those damned interceptors!
I want fifty ASFs up in the air, full loadout for medium and
short range!" Castro ordered, and stood up, watching. The
landing ships would soon come into contact with the far end of
the white areas, and would land into what would soon become
Namenian territory... Right next to Heavenly Paradise. Around
fifty SAM-2s shot off into the air from the decks of ships, and
from the five aircraft carriers, fifty ASFs shot into the air,
loaded with four medium range Vampire 2s, two Dart 1s, and Two
Dart 2s.

Heavenly Paradise airfields near the coast have been hit hard by
missiles, but not completely destroyed. The aircrews have been
scrambling to salvage what planes can be saved in the flames and
confusion. Some planes are saved due to SAMs targeting incoming
missiles.
Air Engagement
The G-41s encountered significant trouble. Missiles, and what
appeared to be ASFs flying right at them. They engaged the ASFs
with their air to air missiles, and used evasive maneuvers on
the missiles, but many planes have been shot down, as many as 15
in the initial engagement. They also fired their autocannons at
the hostile planes, but it sure wasn't going their way.
Navy
What remained of the navy had left the docks and now had their
hands full. They fired short range anti ship missiles at the
vessels who came closer, yet not too many of them came closer.
Being trapped in the docks partially didn't help either. They
were in trouble, taking more casualties.
Land Positions
The shelling quickly began and the troops were caught more on
guard this time, as they had been on alert. But that didn't stop
much damage from happening. The men took cover where they could,
but the shelling wasn't to stop anytime soon. Body parts could
be seen everywhere.

No offense, but this is all half assed...
I really don't wanna RP if it's all 'move troops, post losses'.
I mean, you give no time. You just assume. You leave no room for
anything except engaging.

Following the incidents in Springfield Governor Matt Harrison
has offered asylum to King William the II of Heavenly Paradise
with the option of setting up a government in exile. The embargo
against the current government also stands. When asked about his
motive for this embargo he flippantly answered, "How crass could
a people be to spoil what was going to be a perfectly delightful
party. As long as William II is alive the government of Missouri
will not recognize the current pretender to the throne of
Heavenly Paradise." The Governor then boarded Missouri One for a
flight to Richmond.
