"Retreat! Retreat!" The national guard and marines retreated
into defensive positions. They ceased firing on the rebels and
called out to them, "END THIS MADNESS!!! WE DID NOT START THIS!"
In Response to the DEN Threat:
We are ceasing all military operations. But let it be known, a
civilian was killed by an unknown gunmen, and then they somehow
blamed it on us. From there, many protesters were armed with
assault rifles and killed marines. This was no riot, it was a
warzone. We will find this gunman and bring him to justice,
because it is also likely that he was the one who shot and
killed Prince Charles in the fighting.

The rebels instantly began their retreat from the scene,
dispersing throughout the city in a flash. The dead, dying, and
wounded were left on the blood soaked and body rich ground, the
shell casings and bullet holes stretching the whole length of
the area. There was not a single person left moving after the
majority left.

The new order was signed into place, and with each ship that
went to HP, there would be an escort to ensure the protection of
the citizens on that ship. Any act upon them would be considered
an act of war, as the government would not take any chances
here.

Prince William, in his father's absence, has proclaimed his
support for the rebel cause and has gained the support of many
generals around the state. He has over 300,000 military
personnel rallying to his cause. He plans to claim the throne in
place of his father.

80 miles off the coast of Heavenly Paradise
DENS Coggernaut
"There they are..." Jon Cards, Captain of the Coggernaut
murmured to himself, sitting in his chair. The radar screen
nearby had multiple ships well within strike range... moving
slowly towards HP with the speed of a normal freighter. Just two
destroyers... and multiple ships. Multiple, multiple passenger
ships... lined up like little ducks in a shooting game. Easy
work for his skilled crew. If the order came in, that was.
"Officer, has the order come in yet?"
"Aye, sir. Came in just now." The communications officer
reported, and the captain smiled. They could easily do this now
that they were given the orders. "Orders were as you were told."
"Good. Go to battle stations. Target the passenger ships and the
destroyers. Remember.. be quick about this. Do not give them any
reason to think we're Namenian. Got that?" The Captain ordered,
and sat down in his chair. He swiveled around and looked at the
radar. Still they moved, not apparently seeing them. Good. This
would be easy enough.
The alarms on the ships started blaring, alerting everyone to
their battlestations within seconds. The lights in the room
turned red, and instantly the atmosphere of the room was
charged. People flew to their stations with purpose, and settled
down to begin the fight. On the front deck, the massive 155 mm
gun began to turn and lift the barrel up, aiming it to it's
destination. As it began to set it's targets in it's sights, the
missile deck sprung to life. From the back of the ship, the
Valkyrie missile launchers launched it's four Valkyrie missiles,
shooting off into the distance and lying low to the ground,
heading for the enemy ship. Then the gun fired. One after
another, ten rounds in a minute were sent into the air, and the
ship sped off into the distance.

"What's the report today, lieutenant?" The captain of the
warship asked, walking across the bridge with a cup of coffee.
He yawned, and looked at the window, sighing. Another boring
day. Although, the weather did turn very nice during the night.
They had sailed all the way from DEN, and up there, it was a
veritable wasteland. Full of life, yes, but still a wasteland.
And not very friendly, either. It snowed, it was cold.. but it
had a charm. At any rate, he was happy to be working somewhere
less... rough.
"Nothing much, sir. Just some small administrative things.
Nothing to worry about." The lieutenant said, and continued with
his work. The captain was walking around, and sat down, yawning,
and staring out into the sea, just looking around. He had barely
even began to drink again when there was a sudden boom. Then
four more in rapid succession, one after the other, spaced every
six seconds.
"What on earth!?" The Captain shouted, looking a head. He
dropped his mug to the ground with a clash, the mug shattering.
Far ahead of them, smoke pouring out of it, was a passenger
ship, engulfed in flames. The five shells hit the superstructure
and decks, shattering them to bits. With no control, the ship
was veering to the right sharply, multiple parts of the ship
erupting into flames. Then five more booms. The Destroyer was
hit, the shells piercing the decks and tipping off the
ammunition stores. Another shell, and it ripped the hanger to
bits. Another, and the bridge was wiped out, the shell
shattering the top, the superstructure collapsing. The last two
blew the engine into bits, and ignited the fuel stores, turning
the sky thick with black smoke. Then came the worst part. Two
more ships were hit in their midsections by Valkyrie missiles,
the missiles ripping through the hull and detonating, ripping a
hole and setting the insides on fire. All four ships, blazing
and erupting in explosions or flames, were slowly starting to
sink.

Civil War Dawning in Heavenly Paradise?

Heavenly Paradise is in chaos. The king is dead, thousands were
killed in the Portland Riots, and the royal family has gone into
hiding. Not to mention that Prince Charles is dead and Prince
William is saying he is claiming the throne. This all started
with the immigration of thousands of Namenians from the
overcrowded USSDEN. King William was alarmed by this and had
Parliament pass the Immigration Control Act, requiring for
immigrants to fill out mounds of paperwork to ensure that they
could "contribute to Heavenly Paradise society". This angered
many immigrants because they saw it as racist. They also saw the
recovering economy and how the royal family lived in comfort
while the rest of them had to work for a living. Coming from a
place where socialism reigned, all of this easily angered the
Namenians. So, they began to protest in Portland outside of the
Royal Palace and Parliament building. These protests became more
and more volatile, despite reassurances from Prince Charles that
change was coming. Then, all of the sudden, two shots rang out
from somewhere, killing a male protester who had been using a
megaphone to voice his anger. They were also angered by the
stationing of 10,000 Royal Marines in front of them. This then
caused the protesters to riot. At first the Royal Marines tried
crowd control with riot shields, tear gas, and non lethal rubber
bullets. But some protesters became armed and shot and killed
some Royal Marines, causing them to fire on the crowd, which is
when the massacre began. During the fighting, Prince Charles was
killed with three shots, further causing chaos. The National
Guard was called up to stop the chaos, 100,000 men to be exact.
The had APCs, tanks, heavy weapons, and attack helicopter
support. They charged the crowd and shot APC rounds into the
crowd causing further bloodshed. The rioters then fled for their
lives. Then Prince William has declared himself king, and his
father was assassinated shortly after. Coincidence? I think not.
While civil war also looms, war with USSDEN looms as well.
Reports are coming out that a DEN escort detatchment and a
civilian passenger ship were sunk. DEN warned us what would
happen if we fired on them on the high seas. It would be war.
And it will be. Despite the fact that HP denies killing that man
with the megaphone and the naval escort with passenger ships,
all evidence and logic would point otherwise. Heavenly Paradise
suffers from a cancer that will kill it within, and a predator
waiting to strike and feed on its weakness. The old saying goes,
"the dog died within." And so Heavenly Paradise shall too, if
something is not done soon.

Adam Simpson sat at his desk, bored. There didn't seem to be
anything interesting happening. He was in his office, behind him
was the Texas state flag and a window with an outside view of
the garden. He put his feet up and sighed. Suddenly, the
governer's secretary ran in, making him jump.
"Sir, sir!" he shouted. "What? WHAT? Can't you see I was doing
something important?" he snapped. "Sorry, sir. But we have
urgent news!" "What is it?" Another state of the NCSA, Heavenly
Paradise, may be on the verge of a civil war!" he shouted, in a
distraught tone. "And this concerns us how?" Adam replied, in a
sarcastic voice. "Well, sir, if Heavenly Paradise suffers a
civil war, the whole NeoConfederacy might!" the secretary said.
"Dear God, you're right! Secretary, get me the king of Heavenly
Paradise." Adam ordered. "Well... that's the thing. Nobody is
sure who the king is! The state has fallen into anarchy!" the
secretary regretfully said. "Well get me whoever you can
damnit!" Adam shouted in slight anger. "Yes sir!" the secretary
said. And with that, he was gone. "Heavenly Paradise, huh?" said
Adam, staring at the window. "Sure doesn't sound heavenly"

"Oh, finally!" Adam Simpson said, relieved someone had finally
picked up the phone. "You're speaking with the Governor of
Texas. I've called to inquire about this potential civil war in
your state and how we can prevent it and further our cooperation
as states in this glorious Confederacy. As far as I understand,
the state of DEN has created some undesirable policies, your
state was flooded with refugees, who went on to protest, leading
to an assassination. Am I correct?"
