Enduranca Seeks Space Assistance

As the nation of Enduranca continues to develop, the weather
service wishes to place a satellite in orbit above the
federation to provide up-to-date weather information and
imaging.
However, Enduranca herself does not currently have the
technology to launch the vehicle. Instead, it is putting the
satellite's launch bid out on the region's market.
Enduranca is willing to pay most prices- to an extent, and wish
for the following abilities:
- The satellite is to be parked in geostationary orbit above the
Enduranca Federation
- The satellite will be transported to the launch nation empty
of fuel, and will be double-checked to ensure all is well before
fuelling.
- After launch, control of the satellite will be transferred to
the Endurancan Federal Air Force, on behalf of the weather
service.
- The nation would also prefer another nation's air force does
not launch the vehicle. They are looking for private industry or
national space agency.

Gondor currently has the capabilities to lauch the vehicle and
put the satellite into orbit. King Aragorn himself will be happy
to negotiate the launching of said vehicle for a reasonable
price. Per the wishes of the Endurancan Government, the
satellite will be lauched by Wiseman Aerospace Industries, a
private space organization within Gondor, contracted by the
state government.

Enduranca appreciates the offer, and accepts. At the start, they
are willing to pay 175 million Endyen for the launch, including
fuel for the satellite.
The empty satellite will be flown to GBI on an Air Fortuna Cargo
747-2F. Representatives from the government and EFAF also wish
to be present during the launch.

The price is gladly accepted and will do nicely. Upon arrival,
EFAF officials will be given complimentary quarters to stay in
prior to the launch, and if they need anything they have to but
name it and it is theirs. Upon entering Gondorian airspace, Air
Fortuna Cargo 747-2F will be given air escort by a trio of G-35
Fighter jets for ensured safe arrival at Green Bay International
Airport.

As always, the escort is appreciated. Alongside the flight crew,
the 747 was also carrying some interesting passengers: the crew
of the Iceberg 18 tanker (which had accompanied the uranium
flights). They partially act as guards for the satellite, but
they were also given special leave. They were eager to spend
some off-duty time with their Gondorian comrades.
The next day, Enduranca's presidential plane arrives. On board
are representatives from the EFAF and the government.
Last off the plane is President North himself.

The G-35s escorted the plane safely to GBI, where it touched
down safely. When the crew of the iceberg 18 was given their
leave, they were taken by Gondorian soldiers to the barracks,
where they all met, played games around base, and got to know
each other well.
When the President arrived that morning, he was welcomed by
Carson Sanders, Steward of Gondor. The President was then
escorted to his quarters in the Royal Palace, where he was given
the Presidential Suite. The Representatives were also given
luxurious rooms to stay in and were accommodated with anything
they desired.

The Wiseman Aerospace Industries engineers had fueled up the
vehicle for launching the satellite, and were making the
finishing touches on a double check of all the systems.
Everything seemed to check out, and launch would be soon. The
launching area had been prepped at a cordoned off area of the
GBI runways, and the satellite was brought there for launching.
The technology officials made sure that the GPS coordinates on
the satellite would put it exactly where it would need to be to
initiate the gestational orbit above Enduranca. Quinton Poe, who
was in charge of the launch, told the team to contact the
Endurancan officials. The satellite was ready for launching.

Shortly afterwords, the officials arrive at Green Bay. The
president again emerges last from his vehicle, after the others
have made their way over. He offers a handshake to Mr. Poe,
looking forward to a good show today.
