       Democratic Socialists win landslide in Missouri

       Following the election of Democratic Socialist candidate Matt
       Harrison to the Missouri Governor's Mansion election results
       show that the party has also won a majority in the Senate and
       House. This is the first time in over a decade that the
       Christian Conservative Party has lost both the executive and
       legislative branches. Although vigorously campaigned against by
       big business Governor Elect Harrison's campaign platform of
       ending the tremendous wealth gap in Missouri seems to have
       struck a chord in many of its citizens. The new Governor brought
       the ire of big business when he unveiled a proposed
       constitutional amendment to allow the state to seize large
       corporations by right of eminent domain and turn them over to
       their employees. In effect turning them into worker coops. In
       addition Mr. Harrison also unveiled plans to extend Missouri's
       Public Health and Education systems and create a public welfare
       system for the state. Missouri is one of the few states in the
       NeoConfederate States that has absolutely no funding for social
       welfare.
