Can you name a larger military force that is presently
threatening your country and why they are aggressive towards
you?

In order to protect the future of the NCSA, Vladivostov
encourages diplomatic peace talks between Sparta and DEN. A
meeting between both nations, with Vladivostov in attendance if
both parties feel comfortable, would help us move towards this
goal.+

"To be fair," A Namenian official replied when asked about the
press release, as well as the multiple mentions towards the
United Socialist States, "DEN has only threatened two nations
with military actions, both declassified and one publicly
announced and one not so much. The first was Heavenly Paradise
which, after the disbanding of their military and government,
had ceased to exist as a nation. The second, which was not acted
upon, was Confederate Texas. The Spartan Embargo was nothing
more than a humorous attempt at 'pressuring' us into stopping
our rightful military actions. I say humorous because the
Spartan 'embargo' was nothing more than a self embargo. Namenian
goods, services, and resources are highly regarded as useful,
and in some cases, needed across the region. An economy such as
Sparta's would've suffered more than DEN's ever would've under
similar strains.
"Simply put, we haven't been able to recognize any coherent
threat until perhaps now. A nation that has a self induced bad
history with us that develops nuclear weapons could never claim
their weapons are made out of 'self defense', when we've never
made any advances, or have shown any hatred towards them. Not
without reason, that is. The most recent events related to
Sparta to anyone's knowledge has all been started by Sparta, and
without provocation. The attempted arrest of DEN merchants, for
example. The debriefing mentioned that the Spartans were, and I
quote,
--- Quote ---
> Suddenly on their period... like they had become some massive
moody bitch that didn't want to listen to reason. Suddenly they
wanted everything under their control, and when I wanted control
of my men to watch my technology, they couldn't have it. The
General had ordered men into the warehouse, and my people at the
barracks were surrounded by soldiers. Even worse, I had brought
up the unnecessary amount of men, specifically three main battle
tanks and dozens of poorly placed snipers, and he ordered
weapons aimed at me. Like I was some enemy. The pilot even
reported people supposedly looking into the aircraft. The
situation was eventually put down when a Captain managed to calm
the situation, but the General disobeyed protocol and
immediately ordered the deal cut. We had no choice, and no other
want than, to get the hell out of there as fast as we could. I
wasn't about to die to some chief of staff assholes who didn't
know how to run a country.
--- End Quote ---
"In short, I am afraid that Gondor's actions were rather
necessary. The Spartan nuclear program is a threat, as much as
it is a plea for attention... a cry from a little child saying
'Look, momma! I used the potty!' and accidentally took a crap in
the sink. It won't be fun to go through, but I am as afraid of
Sparta as I am afraid of that same child. And if the child gets
pissy and throws their crap around, then the adult will just
have to discipline the child. Simple as that."
