Missouri Gubernatorial Inaugeration

The newly elected governor of Missouri, Matt Harrison, would
like to extend an invitation to the heads of the other States of
the NeoConfederate States to attend his inauguration. The
Inauguration is to be held at the Capital of the Confederate
State of Missouri in Springfield. A ball will be held afterwards
in the Capital Rotunda. Please RSVP with the size of your party
if you plan to attend.

His Majesty the King William II will attend the inauguration. He
congratulates Mr. Harrison on his accomplishmet, as all new
leaders are to be celebrated. He will be bringing 5 royal
marines with him for protection.

Arrangements have been made to receive guests at Springfield
International Airport. Each party will be escorted via a secure
motorcade to the Governor's Mansion prior to the inauguration.
Governor Elect Harrison thanks each and every respondent for
their timely replies.

King William has arrived at the Springfield International
Airport. He awaits at the terminal for the proper officials to
greet him, flanked by his 5 royal marines.

OOC: Intended to start this Wednesday because I was off work,
had to work though. :'(
The Adjutant General of Missouri, Gen. Stephen L. Danner, stood
by at Springfield International awaiting the arriving guests.
With him were a platoon of Missouri Rangers and a small fleet of
state Limos. Meanwhile, back at the capital, the new Governor
was sweating bullets awaiting his inauguration.

Emperor Maximus's private jet was a massive machine of the air,
elegant in it's design, modern in it's atmosphere, and yet still
a commanding presence. It seemed to be the proof of the advanced
and militaristic culture of the Namenians, and it was fitting
for an Emperor. It looked so different sitting on the runway,
flanked by two fighter jets that landed along with it. All three
of the planes looked like gods of the sky, commanding it simply
by thought.
The plane looked like it was painted a darkish white on the
bottom, and a camouflage that resembled the ground on the top.
At first glance, one might laugh at the idea of the camouflage,
but it was so designed in that it reacted to temperature and
altitude. It changed color depending on the temperature,
removing the need for different camouflages. The tail rudder
held the Namenian roundel on there, and it was also present on
the variable sweep wings.
As the plane came to a halt, the door swung open behind the
cockpit, and a set of stairs came down from the doorway.
Standing in there were five guards with assault rifles and an
LMG, holding the weapons in their hands in a ceremonial way.
Each one of them had a set of armor on, and a cloak over the
armor, the ceremonial clothing representative of their
militaristic ways. Each one of them soldiers walked forward and
stopped, kneeling down, the butt of the rifles on the floor, the
barrels in the air. In front of them stood one of the soldiers,
facing forward towards the limos.

Each of the waiting limos bore the flag of a respective head of
state. As each aircraft landed a driver pulled the appropriate
limo up a safe distance from the aircraft, got out, and opened a
passenger door. The Rangers then proceeded to flank both sides
of the walkway between the aircraft and the limo and snapped to
attention. Gen. Danner greated each guest and walked him to the
limo amid profuse camera flashes and reporters trying to shout
questions over the backs of the soldiers.
When one over eager reporter tried to break through the cordoned
off area at the arrival of the delegation from the EMCC the
soldiers pushed him back past the restricted area. When Maximus'
party arrived he tried the same thing again and was greeted with
a rifle butt to the knees and carried off for medical attention.
After the limos are all loaded they form a motorcade with
escorts before and after them and speed through the streets of
Springfield in the direction of the capitol building.
