Well for one, could you change that? You'd, in reality, be in
that bottleneck between cuba and mexico, and that's right where
I planned to do a few things.

Caos, just because you don't like where he is does not mean that
he has go change course to fit your needs. And how do you know
where he'd be "realistically'? There are a number of routes that
he could take to get to the Panama Canal, not just yours. Not to
mention that you're monitoring them, and if they change course
or direction, your subs are supposed to pursue them for
monitoring purposes. It is you, as the pursuer, who must change
course in order to intercept the enemy, not the other way
around. Sparta can take whatever route he pleases, and it isn't
your job to manipulate his course to your liking. In fact, if he
does wht you say, it takes away realism from rp. Where's realism
in an rp like this if you don't have to pursue him a little more
than expected? As mod, it is your job to make sure that things
like godmods and metagamed don't happen. This is nothing like
that, so I say it is out of the bounds of your authority to
change his course. That makes the rp one sided, and unfair to
Sparta, as unfair as he can be at times. But he has the freedom
to do what he wishes within the rules, and he has broken none.
Let him have his fun, Caos.

It's the shortest route and the most logical, and based off his
speed from the first port to there, I'd meet up with him there.
I'm not manipulating. I'm being logical.

Just because there is a shorter way, does that mean he has to
take it? Kinda like when in the HP war, when I kept my ships in
port. Should I have sent them out? Yes. Probably. But did I have
to? No. Absolutely not. I had the free will to choose not to,
despite the fact it ruined me XD. What I'm trying to say is that
while he could take that route, it doesn't mean he necessarily
would. Sure, you're being logical. But since when did logic
always prevail? Hardly. More often then not in times like these,
human error prevails. And logical isn't always practical. Sparta
would be stupid to take the shortest route, if you ask me. He
has no proof, but what he does have is suspicion that you are
watching him. DEN has a reputation that ICly preceeds it, and
you've always got the jump on threats, so why not now? Going the
shortest and easiest route would prove foolhardy, and would be
his damning. If he were clever, he would try to shake you by
changing course apruptly. Like I said, he has NO proof, bit more
than reasonable suspicion. Not to mention that something like
his satellites or radar on his warships would eventually detect
your naval positions near Texas, which then would realistically
cause them to alter their course. See what I mean? Easy isn't
always practical, nor safe.

Of course he not only mentioned that he was going near texas in
his post, but that he also does not know of any of my presences
in the area. So why take a longer way when he's already going
the short way?

OOC: The only reason I said the Texas way was because you yelled
godmod godmod when I posted cause you said realistically i would
only be exiting Florida waters into Texas,

Well, then I guess that's his fault, because honestly your ships
aren't hiding, and if his forces are near Texas, then they could
be detected. Hm. I guess he IS going the route that you wish.
But, as I mentioned, it isn't the smartest thing to do XD but
that's just me.

I don't really mind that it's not smart, but it IS logical. :P
