Carrier Strike Group
The forty MRFs were going slow, lowering their radar signature
with their low speed and high height. Each pilot would not radio
to the other without cause, and none of their powerful radar
systems were turned on. The enemy would have a very, very hard
time (YES YOU WOULD SPARTA.....) detecting them. By the time
they did, they'd already be thirty miles out. Far enough to
release their deadly payload of clusterbombs. Already, they were
very close, but they still needed a hundred miles to go.

"Incoming enemy aircraft 30 miles out sir. They are coming in
hot!" Lieutenant Jackson said.
"Fire 80 Python missiles towards the enemy aircraft and focus
the SAMs on that area they could enter." General Waters says.
The missiles fly through the air at Mach 7 heading towards their
targets.

At the thirty miles out, they released their guided bombs, and
turned around to head back to home. The gliding bombs' wings
spring out, and they descended towards their target, the smart
cluster bombs getting ready. Already the plane's RWRs were
blaring as the enemy missiles flew towards them ((At an ungodly
speed...)) before punching it to Mach 2+. They instantly
deployed chaff into the air and punched their ECM online. They
would need a good luck for this.
The cluster bombs, meanwhile, ripped open on command, each
cluster bomb covering a click of area, with the dumb cluster
bombs coming in behind them. The smart cluster bombs released
their payload of guided munitions, which spun around and
selected targets before shooting off a HEAT burst and a ton of
shrapnel. Then came the cluster bombs behind them.

WHAT? That's not even a thing! These are BOMBS. Not missiles!
They were pre programed!
And the missiles wouldn't avoid the chaff! That's massive radar
signatures! They'd head right for it! And you can't launch
missiles at bombs!

*Spartan Base Troy*
Violent shaking began and shrapnel flew everywhere. The walls to
the barracks, HQ, and other structures below ground cracked but
other then that no one died that was safely below ground. The
men above however were unprotected and many were killed in the
first blasts. Shrapnel however killed or wounded many of the
surviving men. "My god. Get men above ground and recover the
wounded and get them back below ground to the hospital wing. Get
me online with the Emperor. Order all Intercepters that were in
the air to follow those enemy aircraft and alert all Air Force
to get searching for these aircraft. I want them finished!"
General Huey said.
"Sir here is the Emperor. And Field Marshall Waters." Jackson
said.
"Hello sirs. The Namians got through to us. We expect 1,400 men
are dead and 600 have been recovered which are wounded. Should
the Namians attack this base now I don't know how long we can
hold out. A squadron of paratroopers could be enough to take
this base. I have alerted all aircraft 50 miles out to begin
searching for the enemy aircraft. Missiles were fired before
impact also." Huey finished.
"What do you think FM Waters?" Emperor Xerxes said.
"I say get all personnel in every base below ground except for
the bare minimum. Make sure there are no more breakthroughs in
the Air Defense. We knew this would come. For now we must wait."
Waters said.
*Missiles*
The missiles got caught in the chaff barrier and detonated but
no missiles got away.

Returning to Carriers
Carrier MRF squadrons
The forty aircraft instantly turned tail home and revved their
engines up to full speed, reaching their maximum speed of Mach
2.6 in a short amount of time, before climbing. Morale was high.
Every one of them had been given confirmation of the strike on
the Spartan base Troy, and just the sheer amount of hits was
enough to boost morale through the skies. But they still had an
issue. The Spartans had just scrambled interceptors, and the
radio chatter told them that those interceptors would be flying
right towards them very soon. They carefully waited, and made
all possible attempts to just get home. That was all they
needed.
DEN
Pacific Ocean
Near Golden Coast
3rd Fleet
The entire 3rd fleet had just taken off from Fort Paradise, and
was closing in around the Wellsian Empire. The carriers were
nearing the edge of the waters, and the only thing that stopped
them from getting closer was the possible threat of annihilation
from the Golden Coast. They didn't want to start an unnecessary
war. But these carriers weren't there to patrol the waters. They
were, rather, there to assist in launching aerial and missile
strikes against the Spartan Homeland, and to hopefully choke it
into surrendering. The first targets were, strategically, the
two bases on the west side, as well as fort Troy, which they
desperately wanted to take over. Unfortunately, as the carriers
began launching AEWACS, the only thing they could do from there
was wait until they were within bombing range of the enemy.
DEN
Fort Paradise
B-60 Heavy Bomber Wing
The second the nuclear air raid sirens had gone down and the
confirmation of the round being destroyed, the entire airfield
became an arena of organized chaos. The crews rushed to get
twenty B-60s into the air for a coordinated cruise missile
strike on the enemy's airfields. They loaded the aircraft up
with an internal bay of 20 MALDs each, and four Valkyrie ER
missiles inside. The outer configuration was twelve Valkyrie
ERs, enough to damage the enemy airfields considerably.
They had already finished loading the external weapons onto the
bombers when they began taking off one by one into the air,
turning towards the Spartan bases, and splitting up into four
groups of five. There would be no rest for the crew, however, as
the second they had finished launching the B-60s, they turned
right to ten B-90 shockwaves stationed there, and began loading
them up with their massive bomb load.

*Fort Canton*
6 Intercepters were launched after a brisk Intel briefing. The
Captain of the Squadron, Captain Brax, said, "Boys, let's do our
boys some justice. Let's get rid of these Namiens as a solemn
reminder of the dead friends we lost."
They quickly headed towards the enemy with their jamming systems
tuned and ready to begin jamming. Their radar was scanning for
any enemy aircraft to destroy. The Interceptors are armed with
four long-range Vympel R-33E air-to-air missiles. Also an R-33
that can be launched in inertial navigation mode to shoot the
target at extreme range.
They are also equipped with four short-range R-60MK missiles and
two Bisnovat R-40TD1 medium-range missiles. A six-barrel 30mm
internal cannon is installed above the starboard main landing
gear bay. The cannon contains 800 rounds of ammunitions and can
fire at a rate of over 10,000 rounds per minute.
OOC: I'll wait to respond to the other missiles and aircraft
until they get closer. I also don't understand how your men know
interceptors are coming.

OOC: I was monitoring radio signals... I heard a bunch of
chatter, then something about intercept. Also.... you don't have
a lot of jamming power on there. And how many hard points is on
one of those planes??? You're carrying... four... five...11
missiles, and a bloody 30 mm gatling gun that would tear your
plane apart!
IC:
The squadrons were heading at full speed away from the area,
moving out of there pretty quickly. After a little bit, they
pulled back on the engines, not wanting to be spotted any more
than they had been. For now, as they cruised, they listened, and
scanned with their passive. It wasn't long. A fighter pilot from
Prospero was the first to spot the disturbance. As he reported
the massive radar activity in, they began to change their
course, turning directly towards their carriers. They had no
choice but to head straight for home now. The squadron leader
quickly radioed to the squadrons to arm their weapons, and get
ready for combat, hoping that these weren't fighters heading for
them.
DEN
Flying towards Sparta
Bomber Squadron
The twenty bombers were flying at five hundred miles an hour,
and had just covered around five hundred already. Each bomber
squadron (there was four) picked a target and headed towards it.
But they wouldn't bomb it. No, their job was something else.
Picking the enemy airfields, they each launched twenty MALDs
each, and had programmed them to look exactly like bombers and
escorts. The missiles took to the skies, their blip enhancers
making them look exactly like the B-60 heavy bombers to the
enemy radar, and matched their speed.
Then they launched their actual ordinance. From the external
pylons and the internal bays, Each bomber dropped 16 Valkyrie ER
standoff missiles. The missiles had their targets programmed
into them, and the stealth munitions shot off at subsonic
speeds, their stealth technologies and their maneuvering
abilities more than able to protect them if they were
discovered. At launch, they had been programmed to burst in the
air at a set height to send their payload into the areas around
them. That would destroy equipment, but keep the airfields
alive. After launching their missiles, the bombers headed home.
But some specific bombers didn't. The 10 B-90 shockwaves were
flying at their maximum height, heading for the enemy capitol.
They were just behind the B-60s, and each pilot was ready to
burst into supersonic speeds if needed.

*Spartan Interceptor Squadron*
"Ground we have sights on the enemy. Hawk and Eagle deploy your
four Vympel R-33E. Falcon deploy your Inertial homing R-33." The
Captain said.
The Interceptor commanders fired their missiles at the enemy and
the R-33 semi-active radar homing missiles and the one Inertial
homing R-33 missile shot toward their targets at top speed.
*Base Canton and Base Athens*
"Incoming bogies coming in quickly."
"Fire the SAMs! Quickly. We already have all men below ground
but 100 are above ground working. Hurry."
The SAMs open fire attempting to destroy the enemy aircraft.
*Above Sparta*
Two fighters moved to report quickly to this new list of
activity.(Your Bombers) they quickly moved toward their targets
and radioed ahead, "Eagles to Birds cut your engines and wait
for us to come near. You will then be able to keep going if your
not military aircraft."
Per situational actions, as all other cases, 4 Interceptors were
being prepared. The crews were extremely bored. "God dammit. For
all we know they are tracking a bird that they think is a
plane!" They joked.

Flying to Carriers
MRF Squadrons
"Vampire, Vampire! They've got lockon, fifty miles out!
Symbology is Spartan!" One of Prometheus's pilots shouted, and
the entire group suddenly got serious. They were already spotted
by the enemy, so turning on their radar did nothing different
for them. The Prometheus Squadron turned on their powerful
radars and pulled back on their sticks, accelerating to 500
knots. As the 30 missiles shot through the air, the inertial
missiles just headed straight on. But the others four were
heading towards the squadrons.
"Break formation! Deploy chaff and get a firing solution. Close
in for gun range combat!" The squadron leader ordered. Though
they had the outboard pylons, they had loaded internal with only
air to air missiles, and just the medium and short range ones on
that. The ten aircraft flew fast, then deployed chaff into the
air, before breaking formation and flying erratic maneuvers. The
high speed, long range missiles would be good for bombers... but
against a fighter? They were useless. None of the missiles,
though locked on, could hit the fast, agile fighters. But the
others continued on forward, and suffered six losses as the
aircraft were hit by the missiles, detonating close to them.
"Roger that. Closing in. We've got targets on radar. Getting a
lock." Patrick, one of the fighter pilots, reported. He angled
his nose and turned his powerful radar on for a moment to get a
lock, then sent Vampire 2 missiles into the air. Keeping his
nose pointed at the enemy, he would guide the missile in as they
soon began closing in to 45 miles. Enough for a kill from medium
range.
"Roger that, Pat. Let's move in!"
DEN
Missiles above the three bases
The decoy missiles flew in the air, heading right for the enemy
bases. The SAMs from below targeted them with ease, and
detonated against the missiles, breaking them up completely. One
by one the decoys were shot down, the others now making
maneuvers but still heading towards the bases. It was this time
when the cruise missiles struck. Targeting four airfield bases,
64 large missiles enveloped the base, flying in low and
detonating in midair above the facilities, showering the area
with shrapnel and flame. Anything above ground would be shredded
by the missiles.
DEN
Above Sparta
B-90 Bomber Squadron
The squadron leader detected the targets on passive radar long
before they were contacted by the fighters in the area. But they
didn't really want to listen to the buggers. As soon as the
aircraft got near them, they rocketed forward at full speed,
accelerating to Mach 3 and began their ascent to 80,000 feet.
