Comms to USSDEN
"Well sir I see you no where in sight. I propose a proposition
to you. We allow you to board our ship and investigate, then you
will allow us to continue on our way." Nelson said.
Spartan Satellites
Three Spartan satellites began searching the area around the
fleet and the Pacific entrance to the canal searching for any
whereabouts of the Namian fleet. Two ROGs are moving towards the
area in case the fleet is discovered.
Spartan War Room
"Well, open up Comms with the Namian government. Ask them what
they want from us." Emperor Xerxes said.
To the USSDEN government,
After the recent events in the southern waters we ask what you
want of us to avoid a war.

MT. CLARK SUBTERRANEAN COMMAND
The Private's eyes grew heavy. He had been at his station for a
solid 12 hours, watching several screens displaying news and
intelligence from around the region. It had all been run of the
mill crap. Fire burnt down a house in Gloricia, some murderer
was running around in the State of Texas, another cult had
sprung up in Hirilia. Nothing new, nothing exciting. He checked
his watch, 'The draft brat was supposed to be here 46 minutes
ago.' he thought. Suddenly a screen flickered and changed to the
now steaming confrontation being displayed in Sparta. It took
the private a moment that anything had changed. Until he saw two
jets fly across the screen and deliver charges. He instantly
reached for the phone which linked straight to The Core. 'Sir,
we have a conflict beginning between Sparta and DEN in the
southern seas.' With in 15 minutes the room was bustling with
activity. Generals, Politicians, Soldiers and Strategists all
flooded the room, watching intently at all the screen. One asked
you don't think either will do anything do you?', another
responded, 'Doubt it, this could just be a pissing contest.' One
Private from the door way asked 'Sir, what if it isn't? Sir.'
Then Prime Minister Raley entered the room, 'It won't matter,
because we know now.' He turned to an Air Force Lieutenant who
was holding his face in his hands, clearly exhausted. Raley
walked across the room, calmly and smacked the man awake.
'Feeling better?' Raley asked, as a scowl grew across his face.
He turned towards his armed forces command. 'Air Force, i want a
complete lock down of our air space. Nothing without permission
from The Core or myself enters from the sky, if they try with
permission, ground them permanently. Army, the same goes to you
I need you to secure the borders, especially the Blue Mountains
and our southern Snake River territories. Merchant Marines, you
are to shut down every port on the water until this conflict is
ended and Special Forces and Militia are with me to secure the
cities and prepare bases in case of military assault. Lets move
out.'

Enduranca Federation
President's Cabinet Room
Activity was alive as Ministers and heads chatted about the
growing situation. All died down, though, as the President took
his seat. "So, sounds like we've got a crisis in the region."
"Everyone's taking up arms," the Minister of Defence noted. "And
sides are being joined."
"Well, if worst comes to worst, we know who our allies are. Now
what's this about Hirilia?"
"They've closed airspace!" Said both General Harvest and
Transportation Minister Alex Clayton.
"Samuel North International is basically isolated without access
to Hirilian airspace. Air Fortuna's cancelling flights left and
right."
"Our agreement with Hirilia lets our planes climb over their
airspace," Harvest noted. "Without it, we're severely restricted
in our ability to intercept."
"Noted. However, with all due respect General, we don't need our
air force outside of the borders there. Relocate to the west,
and I'll contact Hirilia about letting Air Fortuna operate in
their airspace."

To the Government of the Enduranca Federation,
When the decision to close airspace was made, we were not
thinking of Air Fortuna and may have gotten carried away.
Knowing this all Air Fortuna flights will be accompanied by a
squad of three 5 F-22 Raptors, until the conflict has passed.
Afterwards Air Fortuna's path through Hirilian airspace will be
unimpeded and will require no escort. Please accept our
apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused
In addition, the following is an explanation to our neighbors.
While business will largely continue unabated, there will be a
significantly higher Hirilian military presence along our
borders. We will also warn that all ICBMs will be taken out of
storage and will be armed in case of aggression against Hirilia.
This not a sign of aggression, but is seen as a proportional
response to the imminent danger that the region finds itself in.
Hirilia has no intentions on taking sides in this matter and
will not participate in any preemptive strikes or aggressive
assaults. We will not fire until we know that an attack is
imminent.

Within two hours of the feedback from Hirilia, flights were
operating again.
Enduranca sends a word of thanks... and secretly hopes none of
those ICBMs are pointed at Landfall.

DEN
100 miles from Panama
4th Fleet Kittyhawk Carrier Group
NNS NAC-405 Kittyhawk
They had the upper hand. Captain Iosif had everything under his
control that moment, and smiled with the thought of a
decoration. Sinking an entire Spartan fleet without any
casualties would be a thing that no man had, as of yet,
accomplished. For all he knew, the only ships sunk during their
time here was the Heavenly Paradise fleet, and the two
destroyers on the Namenian side. Damn HP! Those bastards had
paid with most of their fleet. But what would the Spartans pay
for?
"Captain, we've got three enemy satellites en route to our
position. They'll be over us soon." The report came, sharply
cutting Iosif's thoughts in two. He turned around in his chair
and frowned. Now?
"Blind them, dammit! Jam their radar signals!" He shouted out,
and the crew began working quickly. Using their dazzeling
lasers, they attempted to blind the satellites by pointing them
straight at their cameras, covering a large area. Each satellite
was barraged by a fierce DOS, hopefully jamming them so they
couldn't communicate with anyone.
"May be too late, sir. They just flew overhead when we hit
them." The officer replied, and Iosif swore. This was bad.
"Communication coming in!"
"Order the fleet to start moving! Scramble! And give me that
communication!" He shouted, and looked around, grabbing his
headset and putting it on. He listened for a bit and nodded
slightly. Was it good? Not necessarily... "We'll see after we
board you. One destroyer is heading your way. Shut down all
offensive and defensive weapons. If that commander is barraged
with any military bands I will open fire!"

Spartan Satellites
The satellites were blinded but had momentarily gotten a picture
of the enemy. Two of them were unable to send the pictures
because they were jammed but one got through. The picture was
sent to the War Room in the Imperial Bunker. "God dammit. They
have a fleet coming. Any advice men?" Emperor Xerxes said.
"Sir, if they want to reach us they must take several days to
enter through the Canal. We have enough firepower to take out
this one battleship and quickly escape to open sea. We can stop
any missile attacks with our new systems. Granted we may lose
some ships but we should get away." Admiral Blunt said.
"Sir, I propose we let this battleship board us. As they pull up
next to us we open fire from all sides when they begin to board
with the Invasion force on board. We can take their ship and use
it to our advantage. We would gain so much Intel and we can use
their defensive systems. If we strike hard enough we can take
the ship before they can alert their home base. It will take
precision however." General Lee said.
"I am in favor of General Lee's proposal. Alert the fleet to the
plan." The Emperor said.
Spartan Fleet
The order came in and Admiral Nelson alerted all the fleets.
Brilliant he thought. The Namians in the command room would have
to assume that the firing was their own men. If they got a ship
on both sides then they could prevent anyone from going below
deck. 200 men were being ushered on deck of each ship as part of
the assault team. 140 other members were serving as the support
teams. They quickly but quietly moved into position.
Communique to the Namian Battleship
"You may board us. I assume that you will merely be inspecting
each ship. Which ship do you wish to inspect first? I suggest
you inspect my flagship first. No one will harm you as long as
you do not attempt to engage or seize our ship." Nelson said.
As the comm went out to the Battleship the fleet parted to allow
the enemy ship to get to the USS Vengeance(the flagship) which
was in the heart of the fleet.

DEN
Approaching Panama
NNS DD-428
The commander of the destroyer got the communication but paused.
This was... Odd. Something was off, he could tell. For one
thing, they suggested visiting the ship farthest from the fleet.
For another, this meant the ships began parting, leading his
ship right down the middle to the Flagship, a massive
battleship, tough and very hard to kill.
"Decrease speed to one fourths, right hard rudder. Don't go down
there." The commander ordered, and picked up his binoculars. As
the ship slowed down and began turning, he looked out into the
enemy fleet. Sure enough, he could see soldiers rushing to the
decks of each ship... And each one was armed. Goddamnit! He
swore in his head. This was an ambush. "Weapons, sneak in a
rangefinder on the nearest ships. What's the status of our
weapons?"
"The Valkyrie tubes are loaded, sir. VLS reports 100% online. We
can launch eight Valkyries, and 25 Stormbolters whenever you
wish." The reply came, and the Commander looked back down. The
two forward 155 mm gun turrets and the back 125 mm turret were
turning in the direction of the three closest ships, the
rangefinder already giving them a range. "Turrets are in
position."
"Target their decks. Get that rocket artillery moving." The
Commandered, and the large, 16 rocket pod turned it's gaze
towards the enemy's Battleship, it's laser guidance already
getting a range, and the input from the range putting it into
the 16 250 mm rockets. All of this was done with laser
rangefinders and targeters, rendering the enemy unable to know
that they had essentially achieved a 'lock on' of their range.
"Pods are online, aiming at the battleship." The rockets only
had a short range... Not like the guns or the missiles. In fact,
these were loaded with cluster munitions. They were, after all,
artillery. Aiming the pods towards the Battleship might destroy
the bridge and render the ship unable to command or steer, which
was what they were hoping for.
"If you get one radar sweep over us.. On any military bands...
Launch all our missiles and lash them with radar. And fire
everything else. Comms! Send a message to fleet: It's a trap!"
He ordered calmly, and waited. As the ship almost drifted
towards the nearest destroyer to board, he held in his hands the
plans of the enemy's ships... Gleaned from EMC co. Now they
waited.

Spartan Fleet
The men waited onboard and awaited the beginning of the Namian
men to begin boarding the ship. On the other side of the enemy
ship a destroyer floated towards it preparing to board on the
other side. The Captain of the ship made sure to make it appear
as if they were just floating in that direction.
Spartan War Room
"This will spark a war my friends. I want civilians to begin to
be evacuated out of Sparta. I want missile systems locked in the
enemy positions in DEN. Hurry."

DEN
Near enemy Destroyer
NNS DS-428
"ALL AHEAD FULL SPEED!" The Commander shouted, looking through
his binoculars. The enemy had hundreds of soldiers on their
decks, way more than a normal ship would carry. They were all
armed and he knew... He just knew... They were there to attack
his men. The part that set them off? The 'drifting' destroyer.
They had caught the propeller noises on sonar and they knew that
wasn't a drifting ship.
The Destroyer's engines roared fiercely as the tri propeller
system fought to push them to 35 knots full speed. But at the
rate things were happening, there was no way to get out without
damage. The destroyer, her propellers pushing her along
fiercely, was heading for the enemy destroyer... Right in the
back. "SOUND COLLISION!"
The klaxons blared as the men held on inside their watertight
ship, and the titanium reinforced bow slammed into the back of
the destroyer, pushing her aside and crushing the side of the
enemy's back. The impact at 8 knots drove the men to hold on.
The eerie sound of twisting metal and rushing water filled the
air as the destroyer scraped alongside the enemy's, before
breaking free. "RIGHT FULL RUDDER!"
"Right full rudder, eye!" The pilot responded, and the ship
began to turn tightly to the right, the guns getting another
fix.
"Damage report!"
"Deck 3 is ruptured and taking on slight water, sir! Forward
rooms are damaged!" The officer shouted back, and the Commander
sighed. This was a good escape. They didn't get anything
worse... "Damage control is on it, sir! Radioing report to
Kittyhawk!"
