The jets headed home as the ships began to change course to
intercept again. Each jet landed and the pilots jumped out,
cheering. They had performed a very good job, and it would only
take a little bit for the Spartans to realize who and what just
flew over them. Already the submarines were tracking them from a
safe distance. All in all, this was a victory for DEN. Now they
knew EXACTLY what the enemy had on then, including weapons, and
radar, just from the bombers. This was to test them. And it
worked wonderfully.

The ships had finally gotten back on route and were now entering
the Panama Canal. They proceeded into the Canal not slowing a
bit and still on high alert.

That was when the fleet reacted. The fleet had moved and blocked
the entrance, putting all the warships in front of the Panama
Canal, blocking any and all Spartan entry. Already the other
fleet from DEN was en route to the other end. With the Canal
blocked, the ships waited for the Spartans to open
communications. Now they were waiting, blocking the Spartans
from exiting the Canal entrance. They had boxed the enemy in.
And the subs were waiting, silent, undetected.
A signal from the fleet to Gondor would've been detected, but
not the contents. In reality, it was to both Gondor and
Wellsian, requesting assistance.

Spartan Flagship
"Sir we have Namians in front of us and behind us." The
Lieutenant says.
"Open up communications. Cut the engines down a couple knots but
don't stop."
Communique to Namian Fleet
"Good sir, why do you block our pathway? We are transporting
soldiers to the opening of the Colerado River where we will have
them depart these fleets in floatillas with the equipment. Then
this fleet will return to Eastern Military Co. And return the
fleet. Is there a problem?"
Meanwhile the Spartan fleet transmits live feed to the Spartan
War Room of the situation.

"Sir, we've got radio transmissions from the fleet." The
communications officer replied, and the Captain nodded. He'd let
this through. The officer nodded and turned the coms on.
"Spartan Fleet, you are to surrender and prepare to be boarded.
We have been following you for a long time and we know you are
not here for transit. There is no water way into Sparta big
enough to sail, and the Dam blocks everything else. Furthermore,
you have not traded a thing, and we know you would not sail a
convoy with battleships in it! You are here for a fight. I'd
rather not get one. But damn it if you want to, I'll sink you
right here and now." The Captain replied, watching the comms. He
had rearmed his bombers with missiles and his G-90s with more
missiles, and ordered them to take off. Along with the AEWACS,
twenty one aircraft were circling Kittyhawk. "Surrender. There's
no where else to go."

Communiqe To Namian fleet
"We aren't trading. We are transporting. We will not surrender
as we are allowed to sail the ocean unharmed. We haven't harmed
anyone. Stand down and let us leave. You may follow us at a
distance of you must but we will be transporting these soldiers
to our new home. Please get out of the way in the sake of
peace." Nelson says.
The fleet then begins targeting the enemy fleets with their
cruise missiles and they begin to prepare their jamming
equipment.
Base Huey
"In the air. In the air!"
73 F-30s, 35 Interceptors, and 40 dive bombers take off and head
towards the current fleets location fully armed. On the F-30s
are the new jamming equipment as well as the Interceptors. They
are quickly on their way.
Sparta Imperial Palace
Sparta begins streaming the live feed to all major NCSA news
stations and to all the states across the NCSA.

"No I don't imagine you are trading. At least, that's what you
wanted us to think. You wanted us to think that you were trading
when you stopped in the ports of West Phonecia. Unfortunately,
you didn't do anything there. You left long before your
government even announced your intention of heading to Arizona.
And we all know there is no way those troops can enter through
the River. Wellsian owns it, and I don't imagine he'd let you
use it. Oh, and did I mention? It's not big enough for your
ships.
"Oh, no, I didn't mention soldiers onboard. Thank you for
telling me that. And the rest of the NCSA. I can imagine your
immature government broadcasting this now. Oh, did I mention the
part where we haven't even started missile lock, yet you are
broadcasting short, medium, and long range? Hah! The funny part
is... We're out of your radar range. Oops. Should've bought a
carrier! 32 trillion dollars down the drain! Tell me, what idiot
thought of this? Who are you heading for? DEN? Enduranca?
Wellsian? Doesn't matter. You'll never reach your target. Stand
down or we will fire. Now we are the ones who are under attack."
He had them now. Fun that the enemy couldn't jam them. They had
no idea how they operated. They never gave them the chance. From
the AEWACS, the range to target was calculated and ten lasers
operated, while the guns on the destroyers, cruisers, and
battleship aimed and loaded sabotes guided rounds, each round
able to travel 100 miles. Just where they were.

"We told you in the first communique that we had soldiers. Yes,
we took off beforehand and we're heading to Texas. Then we got
the call to reroute and we had to stop in West Phoenicia to
restock supplies. You are not under attack, we are. We are
heading to the Colerado River and there we will ask Wellsian to
let us use his waterways. We hope he will allow us but if not we
will find another way. You are blocking us from our route. We
already said we were sending floatillas down the River not the
entire ships. Move. You may accompany us if you'd like but allow
us to continue."

"See, here's the thing: You wouldn't send that comminique until
you were nearing their waters. Unfortunately for you, I have
pictures showing you simply sitting at poet, not doing anything.
Care to explain this? You have failed. Stand down or we will
fire." He replied, and smiled to himself. Surely the Spartans
weren't stupid to attempt to attack a carrier!

Gondor Central Command
Underground Compound
It had been an uneventful day in the comms room, and Lieutenant
Mathers had been watching all the channels for action. Nothing
had come through all day, save for the normal check ins by
patrol aircraft and other training missions. He lit a cigar, and
reclined in his chair as he smoked, closing his eyes and
imagining the sweet rolls his wife would have ready for him when
he got home.
Just as he had begun to relax, the comms equipment started
buzzing and blinking, and red lights went off. He went to the
station of the comms private who had received the transmission,
and the soldier debriefed him. "Sir, we have an incoming
transmission. It is encrypted but I've broken it. It is a
transmission from DEN. They say that there is a fleet out near
the Panama Canal having a standoff with a Spartan trade convoy
that has been accompanied by 20 warships. They are requesting
help of sorts, and they are saying that there are many lives at
stake, and that we may be the key to this problem. The
transmission came from a ship called the Kittyhawk."
The Lieutenant was alarmed by this Intel, and was unsure of what
to do. He thought intently on the subject, and responded to the
private. "This is alarming, but I believe DEN. They've stood by
us before, so we should return the favor. Send a transmission
back to them asking what we can do for them and that we are on
their side. Make sure it is encrypted. I don't want the Spartans
knowing anything. That would ruin any chance of an operation
succeeding."
"Sir, yes sir! It has also come to my attention that there is a
live video feed coming from the Spartan fleet that is
broadcasting nationwide. It's all over the news. I'll patch is
into the feed."
"Also, I want 2 satellites positioned over the Panama Canal to
get us Intel on the situation. Eavesdrop for any and all radio
transmissions occuring in the target area."
The private then went to the satellite controls, giving them the
coordinates to the Panama Canal, and more specifically the
mission area. Once directions had been given, the satellites
moved towards their assigned position, and the radio receivers
would listen in once they got in position.
On the big screen in the center of the room all the comms
officers watched the petrifying situation unfold. They needed
more Intel, and this is the way that they would get it.
Lieutenant Mathers also notified the Joint Chiefs of Staff and
the King of what was going on. He sent them an encrypted text
message that read-
"King and Joint Chiefs of Staff. We have received a
transmission from DEN asking for help. They have a fleet in the
Panama Canal standing off with a Spartan trade convoy with a 20
warship escort. They are claiming that we can help them save
lives, and I believe them. There is a news feed from the
Spartans broadcasting everywhere, so you can watch the whole
thing. Requesting clearance for ops go ahead. I already said
we'd help, so please approve."
The following was the radio transmission sent back to the DEN
fleet, on a secure channel
"DENS KITTYHAWK, WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR TRANSMISSION. WE
ARE ON YOUR SIDE AND INTEND TO ASSIST YOU IN THIS OPERATION
HOWEVER WE MAY. WE ARE WATCHING THE SPARTAN FEED AND WILL BE
PROCESSING INTEL IMMEDIATELY. WE ARE ALSO MOVING IN SATELLITES
TO THE AREA TO GET A BIRD'S EYE VIEW AND GET PICK UP ANY RADIO
TRANSMISSIONS WITHIN THE TARGET AREA. WE STAND WITH YOU. YOUR
REQUESTS WILL BE GRANTED. OVER AND OUT."
