The construction of a space station has begun in Gondor, just
outside Green Bay. Plans for satellite launching and cargo
rockets are being developed, and blueprints for military
satellites are in the works as well. The Gondor Space
Administration will facilitate all research and development for
these projects..

The R-62 Arrow recon plane has passed through the development
stage, and 40 of the planes have been produced to date. Their
first missions are due to begin soon.

Construction of the first 10 mobile ICBMs is complete. Each
missile system is an MIRV with 10 250 kiloton warheads each with
a few decoys for safety. The max range of this ICBM is 15,000
kilometers.

A fusion/fission thermonuclear bomb is being researched in
Gondor to get to the next stage in nuclear weaponry. The bomb
trigger will be a fission reaction, which in turn causes a
fusion reaction. Such a weapon will give nuclear bombs much
higher yields for the most effective detonation possible. Along
with this research comes plans for a couple fusion reactors, not
just for weapons but for nuclear power. Fusion power in the
future would be a massive asset to Gondor, and an economic
advantage.

A group of elite men have been put together for Gondor's black
ops group. They are called the Black Rangers. They practicality
don't exist, and are completely off the books. In fact, to enter
you must be contacted by the government. They are the most
highly trained group of the Gondor military, and train for
months to do things like assassinations, search and rescue ops,
capture ops, high value target neutralization ops, and black ops
engagements. Their hardware and body armor will be very
advanced, with minicomputers and a HUD screen incorporated in
their body suits. Their body suits are a mix of ballistic and
Kevlar armors for maximum protection and efficiency. Many of the
ways that they can be delivered to mission areas are stealth
helicopters, small drop ships, and fast moving land transports.

The G-7 stealth MRF is being replaced by the more modern J-31
stealth super maneuverable MRF. The G-7 will still be used in a
defense capacity, but for foreign deployment the J-31 will be
the plane. A noticeable difference will be that the J-31 is a
single engine and uses internal bays for weaponry, instead of
being a twin engine, external hard point fighter like the G-7.

Gondor is developing a 3D anti-stealth radar system. It will be
a UFH (ultra high frequency) radar system. It will have
electronic counter-countermeasures. It will be able to track up
to 500 targets per mobile system, and also has AESA radar
(active electronic scanned array). In order to detect stealth
aircraft, it will primarily operate at the low end of the UHF
frequency (250-350 MHz). This technology will be on multiple
platforms, but the mobile systems will be deployed first.

The thermonuclear weapons development is complete. The other 10
DF-41 missiles are under construction, and their warheads will
be thermonuclear weapons. Plane bombs are being constructed for
the all new G-2 bomber (B-2) and will be up to 25 megatons
maximum. Silos are also being constructed for stationary ICBMs,
and once completed will house the DF-41 silo variant.

For radar capabilities, early warning and detection systems are
being built to tell when things like missiles and planes are up
in the air headed towards Gondor. These early warning stations
will be built separately from the current radar staions.

Today marked the launch of the first military satellites into
space, and a total of 4 have been set into orbit. Once booted
up, these satellites will monitor the NCSA and will serve a key
role and communication and intelligence operations for Gondor.

With much uranium enriched, Gondor is beginning to develop
Depleted Uranium. Depleted Uranium will be used for some
civilian and nuclear waste protection, but also for helicopter
and tank ammunition. The ammo is highly effective and will be
mass produced once tested and found to be satisfactory.

Two aerial dropships are being developed. One is the CLV-78
hauler, and the other is simply named the Cheyenne dropship.
Both will utilize stealth technology, and the Hauler will be for
normal Army deployments, while the Cheyenne will be for the
Black Rangers on dangerous black ops missions.

The air force is now also developing the F-22 raptor for another
plane that can be both a multirole and an air superiority
fighter, and it will be deployed alongside the G-35 and J-31
stealth fighters already in service.
