Restarting the region

I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time to give to this that I
did when I founded this region. What I would like to do is show
those people who remain how to run this themselves. The first
thing that needs to be done is to start recruiting again. does
anyone have a computer they can leave on all the time?

I can leave mine on all day. I may have some down time here and
there but it can be left running. What's up?

I have an automated recruiting script. I'll have to see when I
get home from work tonight if I can zip it up and attach it to a
post here. Then I'll tell you how to use it. That's how I grew
the region so much last time.

OK, so first, things you will need.
1) You have to have Microsoft's .net framework installed for
this thing to work. You can download the web installer free
here:

2) You will need a Natonstates API key. Go here

Set the little dropdown
thing to "other" then in the request box put something along the
lines of "I would like to request an API key. The Key will be
used for recruiting new nations to the region NeoConfederate
States of America. This nation will be the one responsible for
the key"
3) You will need to write a telegram. So go to your telegram
page, select new telegram. beside the "to" box is a little arrow
pointing down, click it. Tick the box next to "This is a
recruitment telegram". This is very important because NS gets
bent if recruitment telegrams aren't marked this way.
This is the Telegram I used to use, you can just hit select and
copy and paste it:

Welcome to Nationstates! We know that you are probably getting
bombarded with telegrams about other regions, but we want to
offer you a different take.
[region]NeoConfederate States of America[/region] is a region
founded upon the principles of national sovereignty,
independence, cooperation,

nation can grow and thrive. We invite you to be a part of our
history. Don't join some
other long established region, help create a new long

now send your telegram to "tag: api"
Once you do that you should be able to go to your sent messages
and find it. It'll link labeled "Recruitment & Delivery Reports"
click that and you will get a dropdowned area that has a bunch
of statistics and stuff. What you will be interested in here are
the TGID: and Secret Key:

So, I tried to fire this up again tonight and got this error
message that I was sending telegrams out to quickly, did you get
it going?

So I messaged this to Missouri as well but figured I could say
it here too. After the fiasco with the original forum, there was
a time I still had access to it on my phone and I saved as much
of the law as I could including the amended constitution, Legal
Code, and what is pretty much the Rules of Engagement law
(explaining how war RP works) along with others. If I could have
permission to I'd like to start rebuilding the legal Library
with what I have and what I remember. We don't have to start
completely over and with a new congress everything is under
review anyways. But at least this way we have a strong legal
foundation to start from.

Yeah, send me the stuff or start posting it somewhere. Also
guys, don't worry about the map stuff. It takes a bit to figure
out how much each person is actually allowed (have to add up the
areas of counties) and I have an early day tomorrow. I'll get to
it after I get back home tomorrow. Have to take my wife to do
the shopping. :(
