       Alternate History!
By: Confederate Texas Date: May 29, 2015, 5:43 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Alternate History! The "what if"s of the world. What if the USSR
had won the Cold War? What if South Vietnam had defeated the
North? What if the British took over the whole world? Stuff like
that. So, just for some fun, I want you to post an alternate
version of your nation. It could be communist when it is
supposed to be capitalist. It could be a colony of a nation. It
       could be a kingdom. Anything.

       "Bizarro" Texas or Saxet
  HTML http://i.imgur.com/8dT123Ot.png
OK, this isn't actually "history" but still, it's an alternate
version. It is the opposite of everything Texas stands for.
       Capital: NotsuoH
       Languages: English, Spanish
       Government: Socialist kingdom
       Governor: Nospmis Mada
       Vice Governor: Notwen Nhoj
       Congress representative: Nahtanoj Mada
The Socialist Kingdom of Saxet is a kingdom located in the north
of the NCSA. It has many borders with other states, however, is
pretty faraway from a few. The kingdom is founded over ideas of
communism, Texan hatred, and dependence, although earlier, it
has arguably moved closer to those foundations, even leaving the
NeoConfederate Democratic Socialist Party. The nation loves
imperialism, usually supporting those fighting for it. It's
leader,Nospmis Mada, ran for the last NeoConfederate election,
winning due to Albert Dawning. However, the one of the state's
most hated politicians, Notgnihsaw Eniotna, was not appointed
Secretary of State by the President of the NCSA, Albert Dawning.
Texans are most well-known for liking war and violence, often
choosing bloodshed over diplomacy. However, if the time arises,
where war is simply not an option, the Texan National Guard
steps in, with a forces of around 0 active troops. The nation
has not agreed to help in the establishment of the NCASA.

       The Byzantine Democratic Republic
       Capitol: Constantinople
       Languages: English, Greek
       Government: Republic
       President: Idas Manis
       Vice President:Demetrios Kontos
       Congressional Representative: Nicolette Balli
The Democratic Byzantine Republic is a state located in the
Northwestern region of the NCSA, encompassing all of Washington
and Oregon. This state thrives off of trade, investing much into
their trade fleet, and is highly adept and skilled when it comes
to banking and finance, becoming the financial capitol of the
Pacific Northwest. This state, in regards to their government
and their policy, is a non-interventionist, neutral,
       capitalistic, highly democratized nation.

That's an opinionated question, let's not turn this into an
       argument.
As unlikely as it would have been for the Confederates to win
the Civil War, it is plausible. The Confederacy was in
diplomatic talks with European powers that, could've, intervened
and probably won against the Unions "meh" military at the time.
However a lot of alternate historians argue that slavery was on
it's way out during the time. Many European countries and world
powers during the 19th centuary were abolishing it, and decrying
       the institution as inhuman.

It's a cool idea so long as we don't throw chairs at each other
       about it.

I'm more than willing to discuss it. I like alternate history
and history in general, its why NationStates its very appealing
       to me.
