"Aye. To the future!" He said, and downed his drink after
       sipping it.

The Representative sat alone, while the initial opening of the
bar had been a roaring success, it had fallen rather quiet in
recent days. Not that he minded much, he preferred to drink
alone at times, although it was rather unnatural for any bar to
       be this quiet.

Ascrith was always in the bar, standing at his pool table as
usual. Today, however, he was wearing a military trench coat
from DEN, a very odd looking one in fact. Not standard for
infantry, sailors, or airmen. In fact , it looked higher up.

Following her debut in the House of Representatives,
Representative Lagana decided to explore the Congress building
following her tendencies to wander around foreign and unknown
places. When leaving the House Chambers, she overheard a couple
of Representatives wanting to grab a drink at the bar, deciding
to follow them to this "bar". She found it quite odd, having a
bar in the Capitol building, she thought of Representatives
getting drunk and waddling back to their seats when break was
over, either acting stupid or passed out through the whole
thing. She giggled at the thought and continued to walk calmly
behind this group of Representatives who either didn't know she
was there or just ignored her. Representative Lagana was fine
either way, having no political allies in the House, she wasn't
keen on making any enemies, although barging in quite abruptly
might have given her a bit too much of a spotlight.
She continued walking for a good five minutes before they
reached the bar, the Representatives in front of her opened the
door and the smell of cigarettes and alcohol came wafting out.
Unphased, the group of Representatives walked in, though the
pungent smell nearly made Representative Lagana faint. The door
closed and the smell eventually dissipated. Representative
Lagana padded and smoothed out her vibrant purple dress, a
traditional garment of the Eastern Byzantine Empire, hand
crafted by His Grace's best artisans, she touched her necklace,
laced with gold and blue gems to represent her family colors,
for good luck and entered the room. It was dim with any light
passing through the windows, it sounded and looked crowded,
people roaring from what seemed to be a pool table and an
ongoing game happening. There was a subtle tune playing in the
background giving it that traditional bar atmosphere. She walked
over to the nearest chair and sat quietly, observing every
detail about the people surrounding her. It was apparent as
groups were forming, that there were many types of people in
this room. She quietly studied them for awhile before grabbing
       some water at the bar.

Representative Baroness Honey Baroda sashayed into the Capitol
Bar. She stood by the entrance waiting to be seated. She flicked
open her scarlet Oriental fan with an image of a dragon on it.
She waved it, the room was stiffling and smelled of cigars and
       cheap booze.
she made eye contact with a waiter. A person of her station in
life simply did not plonk herself down at the nearest seat, they
were seated. One of her personal maids entered the room. She
bowed her head and hurried to find a waiter to get her mistress
       seated.
The Baroness missed West Phoenicia. Back home nobility was
treated with the respect they deserved. Perhaps a private
members bill needed to be introduced to class this bar up. Or at
least segregate it so one of a better class did not have to
associate with Representatives from 3rd world states.

It had been a long time since he had been home. He hadn't even
called his daughter, hasn't even thought about it "Well not
until just now at least." He thought, how long had it been since
he first arrived here? Days, Weeks, Months? He couldn't tell,
hadn't even bothered to keep record. When he arrived here he was
tired, now he was buzzed, but still tired. He ran his hand
through his hair, "Definitely less than their was." he thought.
New members come and had left, people drifted idly by, while he
could always count on his friend Taranis. However he didn't want
to be thought less because of the company he kept, he became a
bit sober and proceeded to correct this by downing another draft
from his flask. He saw the Baroness enter, she just stood there,
"How silly," he thought, "to be so dependent on others for your
own well being." He took another draft. With a thought in his
head he began to wave at Representative Lagana.

Representative Lagana sat quietly on a bar stool facing the bar,
sipping her glass of water, she looked absently at the plethora
of drinks and glass on the shelves in front of her. She disliked
alcohol, from the taste to the smell. It was a norm back in the
Eastern Byzantine Empire, a staple drink to any meal, wine was
served to high born and the low and could be found in any
celebration of any type. She managed however, weaving around it
wherever she could. An hour in, the representative had begun to
nod off, she could not see the interest in this bar. A few
notable members did however turn up. Mrs Honey Baroda, the West
Phonecian Aristocrat. She has gotten a taste of people like her
back home, being the first princess to the Enperor you get to
meet a huge range of people, some of which have less to be
desired than others. Representative Lagana decided to stay away
from her, lest she start an argument, an undesirable action for
       essentially a newbie.
She looked on towards the other still in the bar, many of which
were still having a merry time. It was still loud, but the noise
had gotten a little lower as people began to relax into casual
conversation. She finally locked eyes with another
representative, this one seemed to be waving at her. She looked
around unsure, but after finally realising it was her, she
decided to stand up and walk towards him.
"Hello.", she said softly. "I'm Representative Lagana and you
       are?"
