Sparta Cuts off Relations

"Today, we cut off all relations with USSDEN. This is because of
their actions against Heavenly Paradise and the killing of many
innocent citizens. Namian goods are being turned away at the
border because they do not meet the new Trade Standard Act
recently passed, and all Namian merchants in Sparta are being
seized and deported/fined because they don't meet the Merchant
Trade Act conditions. Thank you." Emperor Xerxes says.
Trade Standard Act
This states that Spartan trade partners must be on good
diplomatic terms with Sparta and that Sparta cannot buy goods
that do not come from the Continental U.S. Because of its costs
and difficulties.
Merchant Trade Act
No merchants may trade in Sparta that are from states that are
involved in aggressive, expansion wars where more then 100
citizens of the defender nation died or were wounded, or were
involved in one militarily in the last 5 months.
All across Sparta Namian merchants or shopkeepers are seized and
moved to be deported at the airport and fined each $100 Spenas.

The Golden Coast acknowledges Sparta's decision and makes a
formal request to take in all business that the DEN no longer
provides to Sparta.

You realize this is illegal, and also a massive blow to your
nation, considering the size and quality of the goods I produce.
Like steel.. Coal... Oil... And I have not killed innocent
citizens, Sparta. You have no information regarding this. It's
funny, how you think you know everything my nation does.
IC: All trade with Sparta has been ignored, and since the nation
of Sparta is so stupid to unconstitutionally attempt to embargo
itself, trade with the Wellsian Empire will commence
immediately.

OOC: Caos how is this illegal? And my state can thrive on its on
economy. Not trading with you wont do ANYTHING to my economy
because A) There are other states. B) I can get gas from myself
and other states. C) I can get most if not all the goods you
produce from elsewhere.

Read Section 3&4 of Article VI, buddy.
And no, your economy is not what you think it is. If you drop
trade with a massive superpower with incredible amounts of
resources (which you don't necessarily have), your economy goes
DOWN. By a LOT. If America stopped trading with China, then
China and America would drop in their economy.
I'm very essential. Literally, I'm a massive superpower that
controls a LOT of resources. More oil, natural gas, coal, iron,
steel, and uranium than most of you combined. Not to mention IT
and scientific advances.

Your economy is not what you think it is, Sparta. You don't even
know how it works, so how can you be sure you know what it is?
Anyway, the self embargo is illegal. Remove it.
