Confederacy of West Phoenicia
The Kingdom of West Phoenicia, commonly called West Phoencia, is
a monarchist country in the Neo Confederate States of America.
West Phoenicia covers over 170, 304kmē.
West Phoenicia is a confederation comprising of 6 city states;
Brigham Territory, New Tudor, Immaculata, Upper West Phoenicia,
Lower West Phoenicia and Jackson.
Under a recent expansion agreement the Nation of West Phoencia
has grown adding four new city-states. Which are Bast County,
Olympia Hills, Baal Territory and Agape. Through the merging of
the unclaimed north-east territories.
Through a relocation and unity with the northern territories of
the former Amero Union. 8 new territories have been united into
the Confederation of West Phoenicia.

Etymology
West Phoenicia derived its name from an ancient seafaring people
who resided in the Mediterranean. Like these ancient people we
too travelled over the seas to found a new land to call home.
The standard way to refer to a citizen of West Phoenician is as
a Phoenician Elite
History
DESCRIBE HISTORY
Geography
West Phoenicia is a state in the South-eastern region of the Neo
Confederate State of America.
West Phoenicia covers over 170, 304kmē.
The nation has rich fertile land in the south which is used for
toboccao, cotton and tea plantations. Gold and sapphire mines
are located in the areas of Lower and Upper West Phoenicia.
Melbourne-Haven in Jackson is the West Phoenician capital. A
thrieving metropolis of large manmade lakes. Towering skylines
and the prime centre of government and commerce.
The home of the state church has been relocated to the
city-state of Agape famous for their wine, cheese exports and
religious icons.
West Phoenicia is a confederation comprising of 18 city states;
Brigham Territory, New Tudor, Immaculata, Upper West Phoenicia,
Lower West Phoenicia and Jackson.
Under a recent land expansion 4 new city-states have emerged
they are Baal territory, Bast County, Agape and Olympia Hills.
Under the Northern agreement 8 new territories have been
included into the Confederation of West Phoenicia; Deception
Bay, New Dixie, Antebellum Territory, St Mary's, Ptolemaic
Haven, Selene Valley, Helios Territory, Tallahassee Central.
Most of the country has a humid subtropical climate, with the
exception of some of the higher elevations in the Mt Ethabaal
mountains which are classified as having a mountain temperate
climate or a humid continental climate due to cooler
temperatures.
The Gulf of New Tyre is the dominant factor in the climate of
West Phoenicia, with winds from the south being responsible for
most of the state's annual precipitation.
Generally, the country has hot summers and mild to cool winters
with generous precipitation throughout the year.
On average the country receives 50 inches (130 cm) of
precipitation annually. Snowfall ranges from 5 inches (13 cm) in
the western regions to over 16 inches (41 cm) in the higher
mountains in eastern regions.
Summers in the countey are generally hot and humid, with most of
the state averaging a high of around 90 °F (32 °C) during the
summer months.
Winters tend to be mild to cool, increasing in coolness at
higher elevations. Generally, for areas outside the highest
mountains, the average overnight lows are near freezing for most
of the state.

West Phoencia has a healthy growing population of 1.498 Billion
citizens.
Language
The national language of West Phoenicia is Phoenician English.
Religion
The Confederacy of West Phoenicia is a God fearing nation.
It formally recognizes Christianity as the state religion and
only those registered and approved by the Ministry of Faith can
hold office or government positions.
Of Christianity the main branches formally recognised are
Catholicism, Protestasim and Mormonism.
Citizens are free to practice any faith in this mighty nation as
long as its not deemed banned by the Ministry of Religion.
Currently Islam, Atheism and Scientology are banned religions,
citizens who hold to these tenets are forced to leave our
borders.

The Supreme Head of the State Church in West Phoencia is
Pontifex Angelika I
Who assumed the role, title and position of Pontifex of the
State Church until death.
*Pontifex Angelika I assumed the role January 2014 after the
suspicious death of former State church leader Most High
Reverend Darius Mckay who had held the office for last 20 years.
She overseas all the recognized state religions in West
Phoencia.
*HIgh Priestess Margie Brixton has assumed the role of Spiritual
head of the Pagan faiths found predominantly in Bast Country and
Baal Territory. The two city states of West Phoenicia that
accept paganism.
Race
Due to strict Citizenship and Immigration policies 99% of the
population are classed as West Phoenician.
Permanent residents are required to renouce citizenship of
former nations and becoming citizens of West Phoenicia upon one
year of residency in the country or face deportation.
Only West Phoenicans are allowed to vote and voting is
compulsory.

Of the eighteen city-states Jackson has the largest population
and is home to the nations capital of Melbourne Haven and the
Confederate Government.
Government
West Phoenicia has a unicameral parliament consisting of 180
senators. 10 senators from each city-state. With the President
and Vice-President chairing the parliament.
All city-state elections both local and national are compulsory
for citzens aged 16 and over.
All political parties are to be registered with the West
Phoenician electoral commission and signed off by the sitting
president and an offical recognize political party.
City state parliaments retain all residual legislative powers,
including those over schools, state police, the state judiciary,
roads, public transport and local government. But concede all
other rights and responsibilities to the Confederacy of West
Phoenicia government. Each city state has its own unicameral
parliament consisting of 9 sitting members.

*West Phoenicia has a trade agreement wth Carolina Alliance in
regards to building a West Phoenician naval base on their
territory which will house 3000 personnel and harbour 3 frigates
Laws
* Volunteer Prison Labor Act 2014 : Is a voluntary Prison labor
law permissible in Immaculata, Lower West Phoenicia and Brigham
Territory and Baal Territory for convicted criminals for
agricultural purposes only.
Under Section 5 of the Act only 50% of states are allowed to
enact the act.
The Volunteer Prison Labor Act permits people serving prison
sentences of one year or more to be farmed out to farms and
plantations to give back to the nation and enabling the nation
of West Phoenicia to prosper economically.
The Act strictly states no citizen under the age of 19 can be
used. And the health and welfare of people serving under these
conditions must be maintained at a high level.Stict conditions
apply, prisoners are to be cared for and giving an allotment of
land after completion of their criminal sentence to help start
their own businesses and industries.

exports, beef-based, tobacco plantations argriculture and

producers of gold and sapphires acconting for 49% of all mining
related exports.
*Lower West Phoenicia has a booming cotton and hops industy
which is used to make West Phoenician beer which is sold and
imported.
*Immaculata with its rich fertile flatlands has an abudance of
tobacco plantations whch export 70% of their produce.
*Agape is a leading exporter of wine, cheeses and religious
icons.
* Bast County has hit an oil boom. With oil being discovered.
Production has been under way to supply the nation and export

*New Tudor is the leading exporter of tea and coffee which is
grown abduantly in the farm lands of the northern part of New
Tudor. It is also the home of the automobile manufacturer
industry.
*Jackson, the seat of the state capital is home to the
government, The First National West Phoenicia bank and
telecommunications industry and all major television and radio
broadcasting both in West Phoenicia and to the world. It also
house The West Phoenician Supreme Court and The High Court of
West Phoenicia.
* Olympia Hills is the home to the West Phoenician entertainment
industry consisting of a thriving movie and music industry.

1. West Phoencia has entered into a trade relations with The
Carolina Alliance. In exchange for us exporting Automobiles.
They will import steel.
2. West Phoencia has entered into a trade relations with Sparta.
In exchange for Sapphires. They will import exotic fruits,
silver and cloth.
West Phoenicia has entered into a trade agreement with NMU we
will import goats, electronics, bourbon and silver ore.

Energy
West Phoencia's major utilities include a collection of
brown-coal-fired power stations located in the western regions
to supply energy to the north, east and west regions of West
Phoencia's. While in the Southern regions of West Phoenicia
alternative energy schemes are being implemented to reduce the
carbon emission and reliance on brown coal.
Water
West Phoenician water infrastructure includes a series of dams
and reservoirs, predominantly in Central West Phoenicia that
hold and collect water for much of the nation. The water
collected is of a very high quality and requires little
chlorination treatment, giving the water a taste more like water
collected in a rainwater tank. In regional areas however, such
as in the west of the state, chlorination levels are much
higher.The West Phoencia Water Grid consists of a number of new
connections and pipelines being built across the nation. This
allows water to be moved around West Phoencia to where it is
needed most and reduces the impact of localized droughts in an
era thought to be influenced by climate change.
