All I see so far are JV threads remade for no reason.

The first few days I thought were a bunch of remakes of JV, but
after that I've seen that there has been deviation from JV.
Wait, didn't you leave or contemplated leaving because you
didn't like the vibe of JV? Either way, that was the reason why
I left. I find this to be a fresh start.

Yeah there are a lot of remakes, but keeping people from not
remaking is hard to avoid.
all though some are different

This community is literally 95% JV so for it to not feel JV-like
will be very difficult.
I'm happy with how it's shaping out to be, though.

Maybe I'm just used to forums having a huge population on JVers
taking thread ideas from JV, but this hasn't been too bad so
far. I've seen far worse in terms of blatantly reusing JV's
content.
Still, it would be best if people thought up original ideas and
try to actively contribute to the threads that are original.
Village Games is a huge offender of this in that many of the
threads are popular ones on JV and that the title does not
belong (JV is a "village", which is where the name is derived
from; we're not).
However the idea of Village Games can still work. It just needs
to be a lot more creative and a lot more original.

As previously mentioned the majority of our population
originally come from JV (even the owner) so it would be hard to
not have a slight JV vibe to the Nation, on the other hand the
site is still growing and people from other forums excluding JV
are joining or will join soon. I wouldn't worry about it so
much, it's still a great site and our small community are
greatly helping improve the site at every moment. New ideas will
be implemented and new topics/threads will be made. It just
takes time, please don't leave just yet. Give our nation a
chance.

Just because we have some of the same threads as JV (most, yes I
agree) doesn't mean we're copying them. Most of the good
feasible content that can be used on a forum has been already
used in JV, so we make use of some of that content but that
doesn't necessarily mean we're copying The Village.
